But this Dentist is suffering from dementia and she NOT be practice dentistry!!!! People MARK MY WORDS: you WILL REGRET putting you trust on having your teeth worked on by this dentist! Honestly Dr. HONG NEEDS TO RETIRE and retire ASAP and stop torturing innocent patients. 1. This Dentist not only put unnecessary pain; excruciating pain on my routine tooth extraction without novacaine as she forgot to do so. She only stopped after I had screamed 3 times. Only then did she realized that she had CARELESSLY forgotten about giving me the novacaine shot. She had NO NURSE ASSISTANT! 2. My son nearly drowned because Dr. Hong did not realize that the suction apparatus was correctly suctioning out the water. All this was going on while Dr. Hong was looking over her notes while performing what should be a simple cleaning operation and for a dentist who supposedly has 35 to 45 years experience this should be a routine task. However, because it is such a routine task; she takes SHORT CUTS to the detriment of the patient. as my son nearly drowned. Date was August 19th, 2025. 3. Moreover Dr. Hong was confused on working on the wrong side of the bottom right molar; when it should have been the bottom left molar. I honestly believe that my son would not have had the drowning experience had Dr. Hong had a nurse assistant working alongside her. 4. I am all paid up in full however Dr. Hong REFUSES to PROVIDE me RECEIPTS. Dr. Hong's receptionist Anna even stated that I am paid in full and that my receipts will be sent (mailed by Friday). it's has been two weeks and I have yet to receive any such mail. 5. I was supposedly due for a refund check from that Dr. Hong that Anna confirmed on the phone. Yet, I have not received any such mail. 6. I could go on and on about my horrific experiences with Dr. Hong. And I ONLY went to Dr. Hong because of my son's insistence. there are so many better dentist out there. For any future patients looking for a good honest affordable dentist; stay away from Dr. Hong!!!! I am warning you! you will REGRET placing your trust in Dr. Hong!!!! Dr. Hong is a horrible choice. furthermore Dr. Hong is an untrustworthy and unskilled Dentist. Oh , Dr Hong's prices are quite HIGH as well!! for a regular tooth cleaning was $551! oh this tooth cleaning was on the wrong side too!!! That's the absent mindedness that I had to endure as a patient of Dr. Hong. YOU will regret having spent any sort of money here. Steer far away from Dr. Hong!!!!! Oh by the way, I have spent over $3,200.00 on cleaning and a bridge. and this was improper done. I have to find another dentist to correct the dental malpractice of Dr. Hong!

I feel heard and listened to when I come here! places i've been to in the past I just felt like another number for them to get through. not a good feeling. they will take care of you and suggest everything needed to ensure your teeth are healthy, but are not pushy if you say no. it's your teeth, you only get one pair as an adult, take care of them!

From the moment we walked in, he took the time to talk to my son, explain every step of what he was doing, and moved at a pace that made him feel comfortable. When it came time to remove a tooth, Dr. Siswanto was so gentle and kind -- my son actually stayed relatively calm, which is a huge win for us! What really impressed me was that he went above and beyond by also putting a sealant on my son's other teeth to help protect them. It's clear that Dr. Siswanto, truly understands and cares about children, especially those with sensory sensitivities. We left the office feeling grateful, relieved, and confident about future visits. I highly recommend him to any parent, especially those with kids who need a little extra patience and understanding.

do not come here. i am new to dallas, and this was my first and only time going here…read more let me paint you a vivid scene - i walk in, greeted by the receptionist. after i do paperwork, i notice she's online shopping for summer sandals. her computer screen is fully visible from the waiting area. a lil odd, but okay slay, because the sandals were cute. but also... this is a place of work? maybe do this on your time off? whatever. okay, moving on. x-rays were easy enough. i'm 24, in good health - I floss and brush my teeth every day. in fact, i am pretty proud of how i take care of my teeth. they found my second-ever cavity and offered to fill it. i didn't even have sensitivity in the area, so i was a little shocked and bummed, but (in that moment) glad they caught it. thinking it would be convenient, and having scoped out the yelp reviews in advance, i felt okay getting it filled same day during my annual cleaning. so i signed for it, and they got to work. but that's where it all went downhill. the dentist gave me two numbing shots. i don't love needles, but they felt as expected going in. what i did NOT expect was for the dentist to immediately start drilling on my molar without letting the numbing shots take effect. IMMEDIATE PAIN. i told the dentist, and he literally said, "oops," then gave me another shot. as he was giving me the third numbing shot, the first two finally started kicking in. whatever. that was uncomfortable, but i let it pass. the rest of the drilling was uncomfortable but not painful, so again, i was like... whatever, it's fine. they finished the filling, dentist is like "bite down. how does that feel?" i bite down. i couldn't feel anything because i was all numbed up. so i ask, "i'm not sure...i can't tell. will this be an issue with my retainer at night?" because i'm thorough, and what if it doesn't fit with the new filling? the dentist says, and i quote, "oh, i don't know, it shouldn't be a problem. come back if it is." ...like my dude. i am numbed up. i cannot feel where my teeth are hitting. shouldn't you, of all people know or least have an idea, since you're the specialist?? anyway, i leave, and there's this weird residual throbbing in my upper jaw. i gaslight myself - "oh, well, the dude DID just drill all up in there, it's probably just sore." nope. nope. nope. something was up. something was NOT right. once the numbing wore off, i had high sensitivity - to pressure, to hot, to cold... to WIND?!? like if i took a breath too quickly, it hurt?? ALL new symptoms, none of which i even had BEFORE the filling. mind you, this happened not even two months ago. earlier this past week, i was casually chewing bread on the filling, and suddenly SHOOTING PAIN. "OH CRAP," i think to myself. this is a problem. and now, this problem is worse than before. something is very, VERY wrong. today, i finally got into the dentist my boyfriend uses and swears by. they took x-rays, and guess what? MIDWAY FAMILY DENTISTRY DIDN'T EVEN FILL THE CAVITY FULLY. the filling didn't bond correctly to the tooth. and they didn't shave it down properly. so not only did my cavity potentially progress, but my tooth might have cracked too from their poor workmanship. the new dentist (i like him) is a bro and literally was scratching his head like, "what did they DO to you??" and i'm like "I DON'T KNOW!!! the filling was not even TWO MONTHS AGO!!!" and now the new dentist bro is contemplating a ROOT CANAL, not even a filling redo. for reference - this cavity was small. still is small. it's between two teeth. but mr. midway family dentistry got just close enough to the tooth's nerve that the new dentist is hesitant to even redo the filling. like... what? WHAT?!? please, PLEASE let my suffering be useful to you. consider this review before you book an appointment here. go elsewhere for your teeth needs.
