Ty Clark at Copper Electrical Contracting did the electrical work on two projects at my home in…read moreBozeman. The first was an installation of LED outdoor deck lighting. He was easy to work with and really knowledgeable...presenting us with several different options and ideas for the lighting. We have been 100% happy with the wiring and installation of the lights, and the effect it created on our deck. The second project was more extensive and involved all the wiring and lighting in our master bathroom remodel. He listened carefully to what we wanted, prepared the schematic, and completed the electrical work, including mounting and connecting can lights, exhaust fan and wall sconces. Ty was reliable and prompt, arriving at the house on time, on the days we expected him. We are planning a kitchen remodel this summer, and have asked our contractor to use Copper Electric for the electrical work. We'd recommend Ty in a heartbeat; we have been so impressed with his work and his work ethic!

Western Plumbing of Bozeman gave me great service on a water heater installation. My review…read morecomments will center around billing. The purpose of these reviews are to help us with our due diligence correct? Anyway, my job was an easy removal of the old heater with an install of the new one in the same location. The technician was efficient and got the job finished in 1 hour and 25 minutes. On the bill that was sent to me, I was charged for 2 hours. When I went to discuss this with them, the front counter person said that they bill time when leaving the shop. Don't know if all service companies in Bozeman do this, but this is where reviews can inform. So I let this person know that I was 5 minutes away. That would make the total job time 1 1/2 hours. It was then stated that this was close enough to 2 hours and that the job was completed quicker than some other installations they have completed. Does that matter for billing? I was thinking it would nice to have a business where one can bill 9 or 10 hours in an 8 hour day. So this review is for those who are shopping companies performance and their billing practices.
