I agree with all the other negative comments, so I won't repeat what has been said over and over. We used Blue Cab. They picked us up in less than 10 minutes. We had the decency and respect to call and cancel with Yellow Cab, but I have no doubt they were never going to show up, so it probably didn't matter. On time, polite, good drivers and we used them twice from Mystic to Stonington and also returning to Mystic from Stonington. My 80 year old client secured a ride last night (11/27) for the this morning at 7:45, for an important procedure. The cab NEVER SHOWED up this morning and she had to MISS HER MEDICAL PROCEDURE. To make maters worse, she is a diabetic and had to get up early and fast until after the appt. When she called to ask where her cab was, she was told "I'm sorry, we are short on drivers" NO COURTESY CALL from this company - had they been honest and human about it, (we would have understood) ***she could have made a last minute alternate plan. DO. YOU. REALIZE. HOW. IMPORTANT. THESE. MATTERS. ARE? Customer service is everything - you could have kept our business possibly, instead you have lost it. After 25 min wait we called to cancel and walked in the sprinkling rain to a nearby restaurant inside of cabbing it to the recommended place that was too far to walk. We phoned twice and were told each time, "he's on his way" but nobody would predict arrival time. Later we found out from our hotel that they never use Yellow as they are too unreliable. Avoid this company if you can. I arrived at the Mystic Amtrak station at 10:45 pm. I called and requested a cab at 10:30. Someone called at 11:05 to tell me my driver would be arriving in 10 minutes. 35 min later at 11:40, over an hour after my request my driver finally arrived. My driver arrived and sped off like a complete psycho. I'm from NYC mind you and I've never been more scared in a cab. He proceeded to check his phone, reach for things in the center console and stop for gas (he turned the meter off) before dropping me at my destination. My driver was courteous and friendly but a terrible and aggressive driver. Not happy with this company. read more

Horrible service 25 minutes turned into 60. They promised two cars only one showed up. Now I see why uber is ruling the car service world.

I figured big brand name, worry free, WRONG! Ordered taxi at 7:07pm (to go to dinner in Mystic Seaport). Called at 7:40pm to ask when they might show. Dispatch said she was waiting on a "drop off" before their driver could pick me up at my hotel. Called again at 7:50pm to say pick me up at bar/restaurant next door to my hotel since I was starving and thirsty. Might as well have a drink while waiting (smartest move of the night). Dispatch said they only had one driver in Mystic! Called again at 8:45pm and now the story has changed. Dispatch's manager is "looking for a driver" to pick me up. Bottom-line: NO SHOW, NO CALL to let me know any info. Spent my money on dinner at the restaurant next to my hotel near the freeway. I will pass on my wonderful customer experience to the hotel and the Mystic Chamber of Commerce too. read more

I ordered a cab the night before for an early-morning train. They not show up, leaving me high and dry to miss my train. Ater waiting in the cold for 10 minutes, I called and they told me, "Oh, sorry -- we don't have any cabs in your area this morning. We can't help you." Are you kidding me?!? Unreliable! Despite scheduling the cab a day ahead of time and allowing for plenty of time to spare, we almost missed the only morning train to Boston. (Had we missed that train, we would have also missed an evening flight out of Logan.). I had to follow up with the dispatcher twice when the cab hadn't arrived as promised. read more

THE WORST!!! They said they would be a half hour.. 45 minutes later.. No sign of the cab. When I called to complain.. I was hung up on mid-conversation! Severely in need of better customer service.. I called these guys yesterday, in advance of my trip to Mystic. Just wanted to feel them out as to how long a wait would be on their "Worst Night". The woman who answered reassured me that a typical wait is 15 min, and on their worst nights, 30 minutes....Well, now that I have arrived in town, and after having read the reviews, how RELIEVED I am, after clicking on my Uber App, that they serve this part of Connecticut, and an available driver is only 6 minutes away if I need him. NEVER HIRE YELOW CAB. I was charged double to go from Days Inn in Mystic to Foxwood Casino. I was in a hurry to get to the MMA fight. Driver said highway would be quicker but cost more. That was the first red flag. The drive took 20 minutes and cost $44. On the way back I took a White Taxi. The ride was 10 minutes and cost $22. I plan to pursue this issue with a taxi commission or DMV. I don't like being played for a fool. read more

I really hesitate to give this company even 1 star! They are totally unreliable!!! we called from DElaware early this morning, reserved a cab for 11pm to meet us at the Mystic train station. all was set. except as we were about to leave the train, we got a call that Yellow Cab of Mystic had CANCELLED our cab. We were left stranded at 11 pm at the station!!! Luckily, I had Harrys Cab' s no & called them and they were there for us in 10 minutes. BRAVO to Harrys Cab. My review is pretty much the same as everyone else's. This cab company is AWFUL. Called the cab company, said the cab would be 10-15 minutes...45 minutes later STILL NO ONE. When I called they made some excuse and said someone else would come. When that someone finally did arrive, the guy was blasting rap music the whole time and was speeding like his life depended on it. I don't mind a little bit of speeding but this was absolutely ridiculous...going 60mph in a 30mph zone! These guys are terrible....call Norwich taxi instead!! read more

This place was awful. they showed up 45 minutes late and we almost missed our dinner reservation. They said it would cost at most 25-30 bucks for our tip and ended up being 50 each way. such a waste of money. Had to wait outside in the freezing cold at 230 in the morning because they didn't have enough drivers to make reservations. They're the same company as 'mystic cab' as well. The WORST taxi company I have ever used. And I'm from NY! Called 7 times. Took 1 hour and 30 minutes. In the mean time they sent a cab that picked up the wrong people. So I said well can you send another cab? The dispatcher says.. Are you going to be nice?!?! I said well I am frustrated but I'm not being not nice. We've been waiting over an hour! So we called another company. They said 10 min and in 10 min they pulled up. Oh and so did yellow cab. We got in the other cab instead. Then yellow cab called me to say they were waiting. I said oh. We took another cab. The same dispatcher says.. Do you think that was nice?!? HA. KHARMA dude. The absolute worst company ever. Don't even bother using them. Better off walking. read more

ZERO stars if I could. I called 15 minutes before arriving at the amtrak station. When I arrived I called for an ETA and was told 30 minutes more. After 40 minutes I called and was passed to the manager who said "we have no one for a while. Do you want to wait or cancel the request?". I complained since I had my 4 year old with me. He got loud and rude and offered no sympathy. Never use this company! Uber finally got me to where I was going and fast. read more

Never have I or anyone I know of had such consistently horrible experiences so many times. I could have lost my job for the number of times they were 15 minutes or more late! And then they proceeded to tell me it was my fault because the number they called me at earlier (which I was using to talk to them at the time) did not work and the cabbie had waited (I waited outside for 15 minutes) and then left from the wrong direction I had told them to go. I was then told it would be another 45 minutes before another cab could come get me. Having worked in customer service I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first few times but as my experiences got worse I will never, ever use them again and will encourage other people to do the same. read more
