Called. Got a person claiming to be in Memphis. After a bit she said sge was in salt lake. Ended up being passed to a supervisor who assured me a cab would be ready to pick us up at 5 am the next day. Promised. Swore. No suprise. The next day no cab. Useless service. It is a call center sweatshop overseas. Do not waste your time. read more

If I could give them a 0 I would. I called 5 hr. prior to needing a wheelchair accessible cab for my mom's Dr. appt. They indicated it might not be available at the exact time but close to it. I called 2 hr. prior to just confirm. Mom is dressed, in her wheelchair and we're waiting. After 15 min. I call and they don't even have a cab available. I called every 15 min as instructed if no cab had arrived. Every time no van is available and they are still searching for one. To make a long story short, we had to reschedule my mom's appointment. We tried other services but to no s avail. They eventually call 2.5 hrs after our scheduled pickup to see if we still needed a ride. Hell no, the place is now closed. I will NEVER use Yellow Cab again. If you need a wheelchair cab it's best to call somewhere else. read more

I usually count on family for my transport to and from the Memphis airport, but with a 6:15 a.m. flight, I didn't want to test the limits of their affection. I called the Bettie Bus and was quoted a $40 fare for a shuttle from midtown at that hour! So I decided to use my Taxi Magic app and scheduled a cab on Sun to pick me up at 4:15 a.m. on Mon. (I decided to leave ample time in case they were late, or worse yet didn't show up at all.) I was just getting ready to head down to the lobby at a few minutes past 4 to wait when I received an automated call from the company to let me know that my cab was already there and waiting! I hustled on down, the driver came to the door when I stepped out and carried two of my bags down a flight of stairs and I was on my way. I arrived at the airport with time to spare-and for a fare of $19-compared, don't forget, to the Bettie Bus's $40 quote. I'm sold, and I would definitely use them (and Taxi Magic) again! read more

Called from a bar my friend and I had walked to for some food and drinks. One of us ended up quite drunk and the other was pretty tipsy as well. We decided to call a taxi to get a ride back to the hotel due to our conditions. When I called the lady that answered was barely audible at first. I told her where we were and where our hotel was and she very rudely replied "Well the Sheraton is only a street over!" Technically it was. But ut was one street over and nearly a mile up the road. I informed her of this, then hung up on her. I wouldn't waste my time calling them ever again. read more

Called and requested a cab going from downtown Memphis to East Memphis. Waited over 2 hours. I would probably still be waiting if I hadn't found a different cab company. I should have known it was going to be a bad experience based on the woman who answered the phone and her attitude. I am from IL and had some trouble explaining where I needed a ride to because I knew the name of the place but she wanted an exact address. I told her I could look it up and tell the driver or call her back but she was aggravated that I would even call without having that info, I didn't know I would need it. I figured the name of the place was enough. It's not like I take cabs often. Customer service is completely lacking. read more

Booked a cab to airport for 3:30 am 2 days in advance. When the cab did not show, I called and they informed there were no drivers available. Seems completely pointless to book ahead. I used uber who picked me up in 5 minutes read more

Arranged for a cab the night before my flight. The cab driver calls and states they will be 15 minutes late. One hour later they show up. You would think the cab company would find another driver to make the trip. I guess timeliness and customer service are not important. While I alternate between Uber and traditional cab companies, it is service such as this that is driving me more and more towards Uber. Thank you for helping Uber and Lyft out Yellow Cab. read more

Can't pick zero stars. Claims to have accessible vehicles seem untrue. None available on a Saturday afternoon. Not that they were all busy--they did not have any in service at all. Plus, the dispatcher hung up on me after he said he'd give me a number of another cab service with accessibility with a smug "have a nice day". read more

Useless to schedule for an early morning flight unless you want to miss your plane. They seem not to care about what you have scheduled. If they show, good, if they don't, so what. Useless. read more

I use to work for this company & Lets just say we were paid to tell lies to most of all the customers. We just about know who's going to get a cab and who won't. But the supervisors their would always tell us to tell you guys that we are still working on your orders. (Bad Idea) Your Oder will stay on that screen, for as long as possible. They don't care if you get a cab or not! Like most of you guys know when you place an order, the rep will tell you give us 15 to 20 minutes. In reality you may be waiting an hour or two. Who wants to wait that long to get a ride. (are you serious) The only way you may get a cab is if a driver is in your area. And if you're going two blocks away , you probably would want to make other arrangments. This cab company sucks BIG time........ Plus half of the staff their is rude as hell. May I suggest Uber cab company, I've been hearing really great things about their drivers! For one they are always on time. read more

Called a day in advanced to have a taxi pick me up to go to the airport which I really like that I had "reservations". Phone serivice people were fairly polite, and even told me when my driver was In rout hand how far away they were to getting me. He was only 4 minutes late which is nothing to totally sweat over. Over all I had a decent experience and will probably use this service again if needed read more

If this is the service that they provide, I'm surprised they are still in business I will never ever use this service gain.( there not be trusted!! read more

I have called this company a few times when I needed a ride in the rain. Morning pick ups were pretty quick and efficient but evening pick ups have left much to be desired. I live in downtown Memphis but work in a not so great area about a mile north of downtown. I have called twice for a cab home and have waited for a long time to be picked up. I called ahead of time once to arrange for a pick an hour later. When the time came, no cab. I ended up cancelling and getting another ride home. I think I need to find a new cab service. I shouldn't have to wait for a cab that I called ahead for an hour before. read more

I don't think I've ever had a goog experience with this company. I caked for a cab at Kroger today because I had my two signs and my 4 year couldn't make the walk back. When we came outside and went to the cab he tools us he was not there for us but had just dropped someone else off. I asked him to pkease take us home (someone else got our cab) and he said no then proceeded to sit in the parking lot for 10 minutes. These people never show up on time. They are rude and I dont appreciate them trying to push their religion on me every time I ride with one if them. Be boning a suicide bomber us not on my list of things to do in thus lifetime. Take an Uber or Lyft. Avoid this company! !! read more

Horrible service. Called the night before to request a cab to the airport. They didn't show the next morning. I had to call three times and they finally showed up 45 minutes late. I'm still not sure if I'm going to make my flight. Do not use these guys if you can help it - although my driver was nice and hurried once he finally got to me. But otherwise a horrible experience. read more

Quite simply the worst cab company I've ever had to try to deal with. Called for a cab, one hour later had not arrived and I called back and they said it was cancelled because I did not call them back after 30 minutes. What? INSANE. They gave me that this was policy (but of course not explained to the customers) and then a second shot at it and after 30 minutes (this time promised to be there in 10 minutes) again gave me the same excuse...it had been cancelled by THEM because I didn't call back again. Same thing, no explanation. NEVER use this company. Horrible. I'm going out of my way to provide bad reviews every where I can. read more

It's just a fact that Lyft is a better overall service than Yellow Cab. They are inconsistent, and the drivers are consistently rude.

Called at 430 am to get a cab to the airport to catch a flight, rep from yellow cab said 15-20 minutes if we aren't there in 20 call us. After 25 minutes I called back and she responded she was having a tough time finding me a driver, I responded you told me 15-20 minutes and I need to catch a flight, her response was that she didn't guarantee me that she would get a driver and actually argued that she is just doing as she is trained to do and didn't really care that I was going to muss my flight. Don't ever use this service in this town if you really need a ride in time window read more

0 stars. Absolutely the worst service in the city of Memphis. You are an idiot if you're not using Uber or lyft. I called and they said they were sending a cab, then I waited the 20 minutes, no cab, so I called back, they never sent anyone. They said they were sending someone immediately...20 minutes later, still no cab. I called again to see what the problem was, and I got hung up on 3 times. They deserve to be put out of business by the luxury cab services, they are unreliable, dishonest, and flat out disappointing. I will never again try and use this company and neither should you. read more

I wish there was a zero stars. This company was literally a block away from where we needed to be picked up. I called an hour ahead of time and had to call back and was sent to a voice mail then I called back immediately and was told the car that was dispatched accidentally picked up the wrong person but they would dispatch someone immediately. Well good thing we left and drove we had a wedding to be at and here we are an hour later and still haven't heard from the cab company. Thanks we almost missed an important day. I hope no one ever uses this company. read more

We called for a cab to pick us up to go down to a local bar. Forty minutes later I called the company and they said that they had not found anyone in our area yet so I told them to forget it. Not five minutes later, one of the drivers calls me back to see if anyone came to pick us up and I said no and to not worry about it. We called the cab company back and asked if they could just pick us up from the bar this time. This was a good hour before the bar closed so we could let him know we needed him at 1 am. He was fine with that and even called back thirty minutes before to confirm we still needed him. 1 am comes around and he's not here. Somehow he assumed we were at another location and was there instead. Seriously? read more

I used this cab service very frequently to go from Cordova to Bartlett and the reverse way many times to hangout with my best friend who had no car at the time. All of those times they were very polite, got there in a reasonable time, and they charged me reasonable prices. So, I would give them very good tips. However, on April 23, 2015, my friend was again having car troubles so I called the service and I was informed that my cab would be there in about 20 minutes. The cab driver called and said the same thing. Well, after about 10-15 minutes, my friend got his car working again so I called to cancel the service. They said "Okay, have a good day." About 2 or 3 minutes later, I receive a call from my cab driver, Leonard, and he said he was in front of my house (which he was not.) I told him politely "Sorry sir I cancelled my service." Which he sighed then said "You asshole." Then hung up. I called back and told him to please not talk to me like that again. His response again was "You fucking asshole." then hung up again. Very unprofessional and will never use this company again. read more

This is the most unreliable cab company out there. I had a 6 am flight and called one day in advance to order a cab to the airport the next morning at 4:30 am. By the time 4:30 am that morning came, no call and no cab. When I called, the operator said they could not find a cab yet. What's the point of taking a reservation? When I called back to cancel my reservation as I was already late for my flight, I also asked to speak with a supervisor. I was placed on hold for several minutes before being hung up on without ever speaking to anyone any further. Do NOT use this company if you need a reliable service as they are the WORST. read more

On June 5th I had my Memphis, TN hotel concierge RESERVE a taxi for the next morning to get me to the Amtrak Train Station. The YELLOW CAB failed to show up, almost causing me to miss my train. One of your drivers saved my phone number (didn't ask me for it, just used what the dispatcher gave him) and has called and sent me texts on numerous occasions. Zero stars! This company should be embarrassed!! Called a cab on a Monday night, had to call several times to ask where they were after being advised it was 20 minutes away, then 3 minutes away. I scheduled a pick-up for a group of people in advance and the cab never showed. On 1/7/2017 @8:35, I Abby Morgan, called to place an order for a yellow cab to pick up a patron of Dru's Bar. The dispatcher informed me that a cab will be available in 15 minutes. To my surprise, I received a call within 2-3 minutes of the call from the cab driver. And he informed me he will pick up but he needed to be paid up front and I had never heard that before but by me needing to get the person home I agreed. Then a few minutes later he called and said ''Step outside, I'm here" the gentleman and I both did and there was NO Cab. So I politely called back and he said that he was outside the drop-off address. And I told him I needed him on N. McNeil St. he informed me that he was at Watkins and I told the dispatch person the wrong address and when I was trying to correct the situation he informed me not to "SPEAK OVER" him, and that I must be on Madison Ave. So I asked the simple question, Are you going to come pick the gentleman up, (and here it come the complete disrespect) I DON'T PICK UP ANYONE FROM A GAY BAR. No, I do understand that each cab driver has the right to pick up who they feel they need to pick up, But to discriminate against someone one over their sexual preference is BEYOND Words at this point. Now I do want you just to know I'm simply an employee of the bar and I just was assisting in calling for a cab when the person is in need of assistance getting home. But this is an Every Week Thing. We call your company Yellow Cab to come and pick up someone, either they don't show up or they pull up and find out it a gay bar and pull off. Come on this is 2017, and we all have had to fight some kind of struggles in our own personal lives and to be MISTREATED shows me not only you hire people who are not WILLING to do their jobs or more importantly you Don't CARE. And YES!!!!!, I truly feel his Opinion of picking up at a gay bar, Was the opinion of your Entire Company. And I will be going much further with this form of disrespect, that was displayed on today. And the cab drivers name was Jami Ahmed. read more

ZERO is a more accurate rating. After waiting and calling (and getting hung up on several times, too) and being told once that I was a no-show (driver never called and never showed up at all) then that driver was en route, two hours passed then was told no one was coming. Too busy. Spoke with a supervisor and it was easy to see why the place is so stupidly run. Stupid is as stupid does. Don't waste your time or risk being where you need to be. These people are completely unreliable. read more

My husband and I used Premier Transportation Services better known as Yellow Cab Co on a Sunday afternoon and the driver was very kind, the car clean and rather it was a pretty good ride and we were dropped off at a local restaurant to enjoy our day because our SUV was down and we were up for a brand new ride. At any rate, after dinner we rode Premier/ Yellow Cab Co to the movies and this ride was the same as the first one, the driver was kind, the Van (it was a van this time) and it was pretty clean as well. After our movie, we called Premier Transportation Services aka Yellow Cab co for a pick up to return home. The driver came, and once we were all loaded I noticed he set the price to 3 additional passengers. Mind you I was advised by a friend that Yellow Cab co has been known to overcharge a person if you are not paying attention to the additional passenger indicator and if you don't know about the $1.00 additional person charge that's listed on their website. ( http://www.yellowcabofmemphis.com/our-rates). I told the driver he is charging us wrong and he stated " Oh ! Do you really think I would over charge you"? I said "Yes. You're website says $1.00 each additional person and I let him know that I was reading it directly from his employers website. He proceeded to drive off in anger. Once we got close to our destination I stated again "Sir, you are over charging us" He said " I have been with Yellow Cab co for over 10 years so I know how to charge you". I stated again "Sir, you are incorrect" ! The initial passenger is my husband, then me and then our 5 year old. It states each additional passenger. That means your additional charge indicator should state 2 additional passenger not 3 because 4 people are NOT in this car. To keep the peace, my husband tapped me, we paid him, got out the car and I stated I will handle this with your boss. He sat in front of our house for a few minutes and then he SPEED OFF really fast. I contact Yellow and was transferred to dispatch and I spoke with a gentleman that told me to call and ask for Charles Rooks the next day. Long story short, I have called this Charles Rooks and left messages on SEVERAL occasions. I even EMAILED HIM (an employee gave me his email address and stated he would respond ASAP) but he did not respond at all. I WILL NOT BE RIDING WITH YELLOW CAB CO/ PREMIER TRANSPORTATION AGAIN !!! THEY STOLE FROM ME AND MY FAMILY KNOWINGLY. THIS CAB DRIVER DESERVES TO BE FIRED !! TO TELL ME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGING PEOPLE THE WAY YOU CHARGED US SINCE YOU STARTED 10 YEARS AGO LETS ME KNOW THAT YOU DON'T CARE AND YOU WILL CONTINUE ROBBING PEOPLE. SINCE YELLOW CAB CO/PREMIER TRANSPORTATION HASN'T RESPONDED BUT YOU DID GET MY EMAIL, THAT LET'S ME KNOW THE MANAGER DOESN'T CARE EITHER. IF YOU WANT BE TREATED RIGHT TRY ANOTHER CAB COMPANY. THEY DID US WRONG AND THIS MY BABY'S FIRST TIME RIDING A CAB. read more

3 weeks ago I called an hour before my requested 5PM pick up to go to the airport, driver was on site at 5PM. This past Friday- a disaster. I called 70 minutes before I wanted picked up at 5:30 PM.
