On day 4 of a 7 day cruise, my wife got sick and we had to get off and go to a hospital in Aruba. The ship left 2 hours after we got off. I had no internet access just a cell phone. I called Larry at 11:00 pm and he answered the phone. GOD BLESS! He found us a room for the night and booked flights to get us home the next day. He called or texted through out the day to make sure we got home safe. He even offered to pick up at the airport if we needed transportation. We weren't getting in until midnight. We didn't need transportation but just the thought was so caring. I've used several travel agents in the past, but will never use anyone else but North Mississippi Travel. Thanks so much Larry. You truly are the best.

Beyond that, when air travel became challenging, Yvonne was texting and calling me while I was in the airport to help me by finding me a hotel to stay in overnight with transportation from the airport that had dinner open until midnight, and even had a toiletry kit waiting for me. It kept me calm while a plane of people were crowding gate agents to get help. Even with the time change, Yvonne was texting and asking how I was doing and if I needed anything. I'm an independent traveler, and like planning my travel, but I'm grateful that I put that aside to get help for this trip. I really couldn't have had such a wonderful time without her support and guidance.

That being said- I now only book my vacations through Tailwind Travel and Tours. Here are my reasons: 1- prompt, attentive, responsive service 2- experience recommendations that hit the mark, every...single...time for my family 3- continued follow up on bookings, changes, and recommendations 4- price 5- they love doing this job and it shows I could go on and on and on but I'll give one comparison. Booked a "cheaper by $25" vacation through Costco travel- Covid hit, got a little bit of a refund after months of emails and calls. Booked a trip this spring through TTT - got email from cruise line saying something I requested (and paid for) wasn't available. Called Jan. Showed up for the cruise and we were immediately upgraded to an incredible suite - and had a fabulous time - because of my stellar travel agents. Just use them!

The process to get these tickets is going through yet another company trying to sell you (Passport to travel). They ask you to send in a voucher with a $4.95 check and then they will send your vocher. The voucher arrives 30 days later with a request of a $100 money order to "reserve" your flight, another 30-45 days. The next step is another $59 per ticket fee to see if the flight is available. The flights are limited and they charge you $200-$300 in service fees. The entire process took months and the flights ended up being more than a regulary booked flight. Don't waist your time or money on either company. They are both scams!
