It's the same bouquet my husband sends me every single time, which is the extra large fields of Europe from 1800 flowers. We only saw it because we got a notification from Amazon that another package had been delivered. This is the first time Universal Flowers fulfills an order for us, and I would definitely not recommend using them. My husband took the arrangement back, showed the lady at the flower shop what the arrangement is supposed to look, and she called 1800 flowers, said we weren't satisfied and they walked her through the refund process. She then thanked my husband for bringing the flowers back. We were not satisfied because they failed to deliver what my husband paid for. This is a bouquet of flowers that costs over $200. And they gave us something that costs $20. There was no apology and she didn't take ownership of what they did. I'm posting a review on 1800 flowers with pictures so they know what kind of florist they are using.

I'm a little disappointed I can only rate Butterfly Release Company three out of five stars at…read morebest. Objectively speaking, I thought our butterfly release was a bit of a downer. I know it's the thought that counts, but I was hoping for a better release, especially after being part of an awesome butterfly release at my sister's wedding in California. This release was at our friend's memorial in North Carolina. My wife purchased two dozen painted lady butterflies ($98) in a decorator box ($10) for mass release (all butterflies released at once as opposed to individually). Delivery was $60 for a total cost of $168. I liked that we got to choose the ribbon color for the box. We chose blue, our friend's favorite color. We carefully followed the care and release instructions, even waking up in the middle of the night before the day of the release, to make sure our replaced ice pack was still frozen/cold. We let the butterflies warm up to room temperature about one hour before release. We could hear them moving around inside the box, which was encouraging. When it came time to release the butterflies in front of everyone, most of the butterflies stayed inside the box. It was like they were still dormant or sleeping. We gently shook the box and several butterflies just fell to the ground or flew only a few feet off the ground to nearby landing spots (e.g., plants, bushes). I gently touched a couple butterflies, one on the ground and one on a person's shoe, and they eventually flew into some plants nearby. Bottom line, it wasn't a "grand" release or anything like that. That's how the butterfly release was at my sister's wedding. It was more magical. We looked up into the sky to see butterflies flying away. At this memorial, the release was more of an anticlimactic whimper, I'm sad to say. The company's guarantee stated, "you will receive live vibrant farm raised butterflies." All of the butterflies were alive, but they were definitely not vibrant. Per the guarantee fine print, we did release correctly during daylight hours with sunlight, no rain, and temperature in the low 70s. Humidity was high, though, probably around 90%. It rained earlier in the day. I'm not sure how much of a factor that was or what went "wrong." We had no issues with shipping or delivery. The butterflies were delivered on time via FedEx. They were shipped on Friday, delivered on Saturday, and released on Sunday.

Michelle was very kind and professional but I felt some things did not turn out the way we discussed. Nor did we discuss a timeline of delivery (along with other details) which I felt was on bluegrass to address instead of myself asking for answers. The biggest mishap was my bouquet. I asked for my MOH to have a SMALLER version of my boutique with certain colors. I made it clear I did not want it to be obviously the same as my bouquet. Well the day of me wedding comes and my boutique is smaller than my MOHs. We had already needed to start photos so we were stuck with it for a while with photos and we could not find a florists. My bridal party agreed with me as well as other family members that were near me. My MOH was even confused as to which bouquet was mine and which one was hers. When we were finally able to track a member from Bluegrass down we let her know of the issue. She then took the bouquet away to fix it. Mind you we are on a timeline for photos & our ceremony so some of our photos we didn't have our florals. When she came back I still felt it did not make much of a difference as far as size and color combination. Also considering the bridesmaids flowers were huge in my opinion. I am still pretty livid that my bouquet looked exactly like my MOHs but smaller and smaller than the bridesmaids. I do not see how this was even possible for them to think was a good idea. With that said, I loved my reception flowers but for my budget I felt some of the center pieces were a little smaller. I made it very clear I wanted a very lush look. I do not think they were honest about giving me that. If my budget was the issue again I would have liked better communication and direction. Positives were my sweetheart table and freshness of the flowers. Although I loved my sweetheart table and center pieces I would not recommend this company considering how frustrating it is to have your bouquet be SMALLER than the bridal party. As a bride this should not be a concern.
