Our group of 11 (kids included) stopped by this location as we were walking down the boardwalk area. We noticed the huge columns and decor of the restaurant and thought it would be neat to try. We had a large group, and the kids noticed the play area so that is where they seated us. Immediately after sitting down the kids ran off to play. I was amazed at the options that was offered for our kids to play. They have a large swing set with slide, a jungle gym with ball pit, trampoline, and a couple of arcade games. They had two workers in the play area that kept an eye on our kids while we sat down to order too. After they started playing we noticed that you had to pay for the play area, but honestly it was well worth it. For 12TL (less than $6) my oldest played on everything for over an hour...I ate in peace, they ate, played...it was a win/win for everyone. =) My family started off with large bottles of water and then ordered our food. My husband and I both ordered the hamburger meal that included chips and a drink. This was our first time trying a Turkish hamburger so I was a little skeptical. Our plate consisted of a bun, thin and somewhat dry hamburger patty, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The burger was good, but I was surprised that the patty was very thin (like a McDonald's patty) and somewhat dry. We ordered a pizza for our boys. You should have seen the look on my oldest son's face when he saw the pizza. It was served on a stone and and looked yummy. The crust reminded me of hand tossed, but it wasn't your typical flour crust. It tasted more like a corn meal crust. They topped the pizza with marinara sauce, cheese, black and green olives, onions, green and red peppers, pepperoni, and bologna slices. It was very flavorful! Our servers spoke very little English, but they were very friendly and helpful. Our tables were clean along with our general area. I never actually got to walk in the main restaurant or restrooms. I heard they offered a large buffet during the lunch time. My one complaint was how hot it was in the tent area for our dining and the kids to play. They owners used some type of netting around the huge tent we were seated under. Along with the netting they used several potted trees and large, tall bushes, to surround the tent. With all of that included, they managed to block almost any wind that might come off the water. They had fans blowing, but when it's close to 100 degrees outside having some type of wind along with fans would be helpful. After our kids played they were drenched. I would like for them to open up the tent somehow to get more of the breeze off the water in there. read more
