Our group stopped here since the decor of the restaurant looked neat and inviting. It is a smaller…read morerestaurant half way between the main street and the boardwalk with little seating, but it has a nice porch area to sit in. We had a party of 15 (half were kids) and chose to sit outside. The server seemed to be the owner, and he was very prompt with getting our orders. We ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce, lamb chops, and two hamburgers. My hamburger was just mediocre. It was a small hamburger patty (about the size and thickness of a McDonald's burger) on top of a huge Turkish bun, cheese, and doused with ketchup and mayo. There was no other toppings! I ate about half of it before giving up to the mess. My youngest son ate about half of his as well. My oldest son had a huge plate full of spaghetti with a homemade, chunky, tomato sauce that was very tasty. My husband said his lamb chops were ok, but nothing to write special about.
Some of our friends were upset with their burger orders and how they tasted. A few ordered a garlic shrimp pasta that was delicious! It was another plate of pasta with huge pieces of fresh garlic and tiny shrimp in a butter sauce.
Besides having a not so great meal, my husband didn't receive his lamb chops until we were almost finished with our meal. Plus, another person in our group didn't even receive his meal. I can understand having mess ups with a large group, but there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant until 30 minutes before we left. We were there close to 1 1/2 hours. A third of that time was waiting on my husbands lamb chops. If we chose to come back (I highly doubt it though) I will definitely stick with a pasta dish.
