I emailed her about a small concern in which she was so prompt and responsive. She took care of one portion of my request and quickly forwarded my 2nd request to customer service. Again, surprised by the quick response, Anissa in customer service handled my 2nd request immediately. I am truly a happy customer! Haven't received my daughter's photo yet, but i was very disappointed she needed to PAY EXTRA to take more poses. I was only able to pick the ONE pose she took with the photographer. I'll be printing the photos her teammate took of her on her iPhone to give to family members as it was better than the one the photographer took. We just received my daughter's high school photos and although the photo in itself is beautiful, the paper that it's printed on is atrocious. It's glittery and has that weird 3D vibe, the picture changes if you move your eyes even the slightest. When you look at the photo half the faces look out of focus at any given time. I called customer service to ask if I could get it printed on regular paper, and after she asked around she came back and told me that they don't have any other options. The customer service girl was really friendly and helpful, but it's a shame that you pay for these expensive photos and receive a subpar product. There will be no purchase next year unfortunately. read more

I'm the head coach of a volleyball program. My Boosters chose Yary so I don't k ow exactly what was agreed to. But I do know that the girls' individual photos are lit terribly. Our team photo is also lit weird and we all look like we have terribly greasy faces! I received an 11x13 team photo as a coach's gift, but the frame arrived broken. I've emailed 3 times and gotten no response. I've called and talked to the same guy 3 times. Each time he tells me that he'll have someone bring a new frame by... and still no new frame. I am the parent coordinator for Monrovia HIgh School Girls volleyball we needed a new photographer that had really nice back grounds and can provide multiple options for our 3 levels. I called Yary on 08/16/24 spoke with Chelle explained my dilemma and she was able to schedule out for Yary to come on 08/20/2024 to do all 3 levels she sent me an email that same day with the whole breakdown and when we wanted to see different options for our photo proofs she was kind and courteous and worked with us as soon as we approved she immediately got our senior banners and varsity banners printed right away. Chelle/Yary is professional, Not over priced and most importantly I love the turn around time not weeks once banners were approved we got them within in a week we will definitely be using Yary again! read more

Extremely unsatisfied. First time they did pictures, it was very smooth. Second time (about 40+ orders) it was very unprofessional with communication, quality of pictures etc. Yary was suppose to use digitally enhanced backgrounds. They took pictures from a grey brick background. I thought they would digitally enhance the background like last year but to my great disappointment they processed the pictures with the grey brick background. This was NOT our agreement. Furthermore, per our agreement they were suppose to provide two 8x10's for the coaches gift and they gave me 1 tiny 4x6" instead. This was suppose to be part of the coaches gift package for their volunteer time and ended up with tiny 4x6 team pictures. Yary tried to sell me with an explanation (exact words from Yary) of "I do think the individual photos look great with back wall, it gives them that urban look. We would have definitely done if it wasn't a great background. Yary also said I approved of the grey backdrop. Definitely NOT! I told them via email to change it to a digitally enhanced background per the picture I sent them and emailed BEFORE they produced the pictures. Seriously would you think a grey brick background looks great for a backdrop?!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL with lots of finger pointing nonsense. The picture on right is what they did last year and was correct. This year they took the easy way out and did not change the grey brick background trying to tell us that it looks good. Many of the families were disappointed and I will be finding another company that can better service professionally. read more

The first strike against Yary was their failure to show up and take the group photos. We had one of the parents take the photo then give the image to the Yary photographer when he finally did show up half hour late. Strike 2 - just received the photo and it's awful! It's super imposed against a grey shiny background with reflections at the bottom. Why would anyone want that?? It's so low quality and ruins how the kids look. We used Yary for the first time this year as past photographers have been horrible. Yary was absolutely AMAZING. We have 8 teams and over 200 football players ranging from age 6 to 13, they made sure that al boys were paying attention and posed correctly, even checked the photo after to make sure eyes were open and they didn't look silly. (Past photos we have gotten from other companies a kid isn't even looking at the camera). The team photo was even better, she made sure the boys were listening and posing the same so no one looked out of place or off. The ladies that organized the whole picture day were the best, they made sure parents stayed away from the football field, boys were tucked in and ready, they were clear in the instructions to myself and the other the managers. The total time my team was there was 25 minutes, we usually are there for an hour. They were fast and efficient and I am so excited to see the photos, our organization will absolutely be using Yary in the future. read more

We used Yary for the first time this year and our team photos were wonderful. We also ordered 4ft banners of our Seniors and they were the perfect size for display both on the football field and in the gym in addition to looking incredibly professional and beautiful. I appreciate that the photographers considered where they were during the photo session- we are in Pasadena and they thoughtfully posed the team in front of the mountains rather than just against a tree in the park. They were additionally very patient with the team during photos even as the light was fading and we had to work as quickly as possible. Great working with these folks. We had a very productive photo session for my senior, but also fun. Very accommodating with the order, very professional. We were pleasantly pleased to find out that they also handled the school band photo. Again all of the above, very accommodating to our special order request, very fair on the costs. We now have matching pair of canvas photos for two of our sons! Not to end on a sour note, but last night we were at the studio selected by the school for senior/year book pictures and we did not get the same vibe. Very strict in staying within their package selections and although we spent a significant amount, we felt we did not get the same value or accommodation. We also spoke over the phone and she was very sweet and attentive to my wants of taking an individual uniform photo. She responded within a day of me contacting Yary and she was able to schedule me quickly! On the day of the shoot, Toni was my photographer and I must say it was the easiest shoot I've done. They gave me an order form and told me I could order online at any time. Tried to order a few days later and it wouldn't allow me. I called and they said I could pay over the phone or wait a few days for an online code to use to preview pictures. I said I would just wait. Finally get the form and go online to order. Package prices are way higher than the order form I was given in person. There are NO packages with individual and team pics. You have to purchase separately. I called and the lady said it should say on the envelope "48 hours to order....and this counts as a reorder." I told her the employee never gave me an envelope, just the order form. Also, HOW IS THIS A REORDER WHEN I'VE NEVER ORDERED PICS?! She said, "well the organization (basketball) should've let you know." Talked to the coach and no one ever told him either. There's a $25 package on the form I was given, and $60 for an online package of individuals plus ONE team pic. Bait and switch! Photo quality was meh and employee on the phone was rude and gave me the run around. Don't reccomend!! read more
