He noticed that our pop-up had been washed away in a big rain and that the trenches had settled significantly (as I mentioned in my complaint). Worst lawn care experience in over 10 years and 20+ properties! I hired this company to service my…read moreproperty every other Tuesday. From the start, I had nothing but issues. The first week they showed up on a Wednesday and only cut the back yard. They left grass clippings all over the yard and did not service the front yard at all. They failed to trim the bushes, leaf blow the driveway and patio, or edge the yard. All of which were services I paid for. Unfortunately, this was the best experience I had with Carolina Pro Lawn Care and it only got worse from there. They were supposed to come back two weeks later and never showed up despite paying them $40 for the service. After ignoring my calls and emails for several days, I was finally able to get ahold of them. They said they didn't service the property because I had multiple dogs in my backyard. However, I don't have any dogs or pets on the property. At first I thought they tried the wrong house but they confirmed otherwise and said they would try again next week. The following week they did not show up again. I have reached out multiple times and they finally said there was a dog in my yard again even though there were still no animals on the property. I seriously doubt they even came by the property that day. At this point they have not mowed my grass in over 4 weeks. I had to cut it myself so I didn't receive a fine from the homeowners association. Carolina Lawn Care assured me they would be by in two weeks for scheduled service. As you can guess, they didn't show up again. I called to have them come out and they said they would come by on Wednesday instead. I waited at the house all day Wednesday to ensure there were no issues and everything went smoothly. As of 6pm, they had not come by and I was about to email them to see what the issue was. Right about that time, I received yet another email saying they had come by and my dogs were out again. Still not dogs on the property and my neighbors don't have dogs either. Its at this point I realized this company is nothing but dishonest. They will blatantly lie to your face and will look for ways to steal your money. If the weather is hot they will fabricate a story so they don't have to work in the heat. The customer service is horrible and I would not expect them to tell you the truth about their services. They will also refuse to return emails. This company is far from professional and I would recommend against using them for any of your lawn care needs. There are a lot better options with hard working, reliable workers. This company is full of liars and thief's. BEWARE!

I hired Carolina Pro to do the yard work, including leaf blowing of the yard as well as the gutters, the second year here. I have been using their services for 4 years now and have had an awesome experience. They communicate with me every step of the way and when I had one small issue, (in 4 years - 1 small issue with any company is unheard of in my opinion) they immediately took care of it, no questions asked. There staff is always friendly and they do excellent work. Also the owners keep on top of things to be sure the job is done right and that I am happy. I highly recommend Carolina Pro Lawn Care!!!

I clearly remember my Father asking this sales person three separate times during this conversation about the sink if they were actually going to install it and they said yes. This was a big reason we decided to spend money with them. Once the installers arrived they refused to do the promised work because they didn't have plumbing insurance. We called and spoke to three different people at their company to either get the cost of the plumber covered because the salesman lied or to have it done. We were put through to the owner of the company who was extremely rude. Instead of providing great customer service, the rude and arrogant owner instead threatened to put a lien on the house if my father did not pay even though they did not do what was promised. Horrible people and liars from their owner down to their sales team. Avoid at all cost.

First time I called to get an update, Danny said I would receive an estimate by the end of the week. That didn't happen so I reached out again a week later and got no response. The problem at this company is how you are treated by the owner/manager if you have any question or issue whatsoever. I have reached out to him maybe three times over the years for very simple questions or issues. Every single time I have been met with utter disdain, condescension, and astoundingly nasty treatment. For the cost of this lawn service, there should someone willing to address your issues when something is not right. Not here. Be prepared to be belittled and talked down to, because that is how this business operates. Here is my advice: if you do decide to overpay for this lawn service, please be warned that homes scheduled early in the week take priority over those with service later in the week. For example, I was a Thursday lawn on their schedule which means that I get bumped on Thanksgiving week each year. Totally understandable. But, if the Monday through Wednesday lawns get service Thanksgiving week, wouldn't it make sense to start with the Thursday lawns the next week? Not when management is too lazy to adjust the schedule to accommodate all paying customers. Instead, Monday-Wednesday lawns get another service at the start of the next week because 'people like to get service on the same day' (his exact words when explaining his reasoning). Therefore, Thursday and Friday lawns get the shaft during the peak of leaf season. New fescue grass sprouting all around from seeding in October, then you add piles of wet rotting leaves on top, and get no service for 2 full weeks (or more)? It simply suffocates the new growth every year. Why couldn't he just communicate with M-W clients that they won't receive service on their regular day the week after thanksgiving? Too much to ask, or likely just managerial laziness. And what do I get for asking for the 2nd time in 3 years about this very issue? 'This week will be your last visit.' I pay the same as M-W people, so why should they get service twice before I get one? Instead of addressing my concern, he takes his mower and walks away. No warning, nothing. Simply made the decision to break our agreement and not show up again. I even gave him 2 additional weeks to make it right and to complete the service that I didn't receive in November, or reimburse me for said service. He tells me to stop emailing him and to let it go. In other words, I already have your money and now refuse to provide the service that was paid for. I'm ecstatic about not dealing with this jerk any longer. See for yourself the piles of leaves after 2 weeks and the dead growth from underneath after they finally showed up for their 'last visit'. I paid north of $400/month, nearly $5k/year, always on time, for weekly lawn service. And instead of taking care of a customer with understanding and compassion, he simply refuses to come back. Sad. Too many options out there to deal with this nonsense. Lastly, I'm sure he will come on here and talk about me being mean to him as the reason for not coming back. This company installed my back flow in a new construction facilitated through the developer. Within…read morethe first year, unfortunately my back flow cracked during the winter and started leaking. Per the developer's recommendation, I contacted them and after multiple attempts they finally answered and came out and removed the back flow. They then took the back flow with them and said they would return in early spring to reinstall. Why they took it with them is still unclear. Come spring, I sent multiple texts, emails, and even called and left messages. Unfortunately, they are completely non-responsive. Finally I received a text that stated they would come out during the first week of April, which they did not. Again, I followed up and didn't hear anything back. Only after I got the developer involved did they finally come out and reinstall the back flow (still broken) and leave without giving us a heads up of when they were coming. Completely unreliable, irresponsible and unprofessional. My daughter wanted to employ them to install an irrigation system but of course they showed what kind of service they provide and now will not.

I had such high hopes with this company until I started receiving after-hours emails and calls of…read moreoutstanding balances that I had already paid. I hadn't the end of the month invoices promised. I did not want to accumulate at high balance, so I gave $150 check to the guy cutting the grass. I even called the owner to make sure that he'd gotten the check. He confirmed that he did and thanked me. He said other clients were upset because they weren't getting the invoices on time. I'd asked him to clean the flower bed, remove the old mulch, and plant the flowers that I'd purchased. I purchased 8, to which he charged $10 a piece and $50 for cutting the lawn. At 9 p.m., I got emails asking me if it was alright to call. I agreed. I got a call from Craig's employee named Julie. She did the billing. She that I owed both $150 and $130. The $130 was marked delinquent one day after the service. I paid it the very next morning. I told Julie that I had paid with a check the $150 and $130 on my credit. She disputed that I'd paid at all. After much back and forth, she finally saw that I had paid and then conceded that she was wrong. Her constant accusations and badgering turned into a disingenuous apology when I said that I would report the harassment on Yelp. She said that wasn't accusing me, but it was me who misunderstood her intentions. I emailed Craig about his Juliesl's terrible customer service and behavior. He said that it was the software but added that I contributed to the issue by giving checks to the landscaper named Netflix. He said that Netflix could have lost the checks between servicing lawns. He told me to pay from now on on the Jobber site with a credit card. I was going to share the emails on Yelp then but didn't want to hurt him or his business. She even said that she'd resign to keep him from getting a "bad review," but once again, I get an invoice that I owed $100. I'd gone online after April 25 to pay $50 on my card. I was charged for April 5, even though no one showed. I have the emails questioning if I were on schedule for April 4, and why no one came? I received a response that they moved it to April 5. No one came on April 5 as promised, and once again, I emailed asking why? Craig responded tonight that I did nothing wrong, and he apologized. He gave reasons as to why he hadn't kept his word. I accepted the reasons but responded that if he'd just told me, there'd be no problems. I tried my best to continue with the company because good, reliable lawn care is hard to find, but my having to jump to hoops to not only pay but to prove that I've paid is unnecessary stress. As a good faith gesture and to give him the benefit of the doubt. I paid the last invoice in full just to be done. I knew that I only owed $50 but I was tired of the back and forth. I looked on my bank statements and saw that I had paid $50. I only owed $50 instead of the $100 that I was wrongfully charged. I contacted Craig and shared proof of payment. He admitted that he'd found the error and was putting my check in the mail. If he can't keep up with his books or schedule better, he will continue to lose business. Anyone who knows me, knows that I pay my bills on time and I don't run outstanding balances. I wouldn't have A+ credit if I did. I have found someone else and pray that I won't have to go through this again.
