As we have priority pass membership our lounge visits are free but usually the lounge costs at least $25. They have pretty good wifi and a good spread of food which includes a soup of the day, different sandwiches, fruits and drinks of all kind. I have been to many different lounges in different airports around the world but this one is starting to show its age. The furniture is getting old and the sofas are really uncomfortable plus they don't have enough charging outlets. So at some point the management of the lounge will have to update everything. The good part is that the Ataturk airport has lots of different options so if you don't feel satisfied with this one you can try other lounges which are within the same area of the terminal.

Oh boy, did this impress! I had such a wonderful experience flying on Turkish airlines into Istanbul. I wasn't hungry, but I was trying to find a quiet place to sit before my next flight. The lounge is huge with views of the airport. The acoustics are pretty amazing for how busy the airport and lounge is, it wasn't that loud. There are so many food stations with everything being made fresh. It was so hard to say no to another meal. I tried the homemade Turkish ravioli made with lamb, a Turkish coffee, and more. Delicious! I had some sweets before leaving too. Can't wait to try the business lounge when I head home!

Despite being super early, they did have limited selection of hot food. They even had an omelette station that opened a little later. Very clean, so many people working in every area keeping it clean. They have showers, a prayer room and many seats.

Upon my arrival, I saw 2 staff members chatting at the front desk. I waited until they finished, hoping they would notice me as nobody was there but me. I waited a while. Eventually one of them left. The other lady was acting as I was not there. I waited until she notices me, but somehow she did not see me. So I just presented my tickets and a Pass. She only said: "It doesn't work here". I asked her to check the system. She replied again: "It doesn't work here. It's paid". The whole time she didn't make an eye contact even once and did not check the system for my pass entrance, her response was pretty rude. I called Priority Pass after arrival to US to confirm I had the right information about the lounge. I had correct information, complaint filed. Such a disappointing experience.

That said, everything is well-organized, and we were able to make our connection in no time. What really stood out to me was the virtual information kiosks--such a great concept! When we arrived, our gate wasn't showing, and we weren't sure where to go. Within seconds, we connected to a live person through one of the screens, and they helped us right away. It made the experience so much less stressful. The airport itself is beautiful, modern, and full of options--plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants to explore while you wait. And I have to say, the Turkish people we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. If you have a layover here, take a little time to look around--it's a great airport despite the hustle and bustle!

Staff range from visibly annoyed to outright hostile, as if your very presence personally offended them. Honestly, I think the ticketing agents made a blood pact to make sure no one leaves here with their sanity intact. Are you hungry? Hope you brought a second mortgage. Some of the vendors will give u a hard time but they do specifically in the duty free stores. My arrival was smooth. It was the normal process. What made an impression was my departure. Five security checks!, wow. The first one when I entered the airport. A metal detector for all my belongings and one for me. The second the one for my boarding ticket and luggage, same thing . The third at a nother station when checking for my passport. It was again a metal detector and items check. The fourth at the gate. Before entering the gate a passport check. It was actually a second person inside stopping every other person. I recommend going to the bathroom before getting to this check. If u have to go because You have to go back to line again if you exit. The gate is closed in with a glass surrounding. The last before boarding the plane, wow.
