The buffet food, which is free, is simple and filling. Good lentil soup, some simple cheeses and fruit. Also your choice of teas, coffee and soft drinks. Sorry no alcohol. I really like the convenience of the private bus test takes you directly to the plane. Allen all this relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs, food/drink and small bus service to the plane makes the nominal fee worth it. Especially for long layovers.

There's a tempting spread at every turn: colorful salads and mezze, freshly prepared Turkish favorites, hearty hot dishes, breads and pastries, and an impressive selection of desserts. Just when you think you've made your choice, another station catches your eye and suddenly your plate needs "a little more room." The staff is young and energetic moving around cleaning table and being gracious about it. Everything feels generous, inviting, and designed to keep you happily wandering back for one more bite. The hardest part isn't finding something you like; it's deciding when to stop. An outstanding lounge experience, and a fantastic start to any journey through Istanbul.

First time was for a quick 30 mins during a layover from SFO to CDG. Second was a long overnight layover on the way back. It was pretty busy our first visit. Tho it was around lunchtime. I'm sure a lot of flights had layovers around that time. The lounge is huge. Plenty of tables, chairs. etc. I wanted some greens so grabbed some salad for a quick bite. We had some water. I had a pour of bubbles. I could only find one restroom which I found odd for a lounge of this size. There was always a wait. Second time was a night time layover. There were not a lot of people here. Basically all but the salad and dessert stations were closed. I did find a beverage cart, so I was able to pour myself some bubbly until they took that away. I think around 1am-ish? Maybe 1:30am. The germany world cup game was on, so luckily they had a spot with TVs. In the morning, it got pretty busy before we left around 6am. Since we were here for the morning rush, I was able to sample some eggs. Idk if they serve meat here, but everything I ran across was meat free. Some additional notes. They have self serve lockers here. So you can store your carry ons if you want to go explore the airport. There is plenty of seating, but not plenty of seating with outlets. The place is popular so expect a bit of a line, but they are as efficient as we've experienced and got a large bunch of people in quickly. Inside is expansive! Upon walking in, there is a large area with food, both hot/prepared and self serve. Delicious middle eastern cuisine is at your disposal and was magical! A plate of olives, hummus, gyro and pita is never wrong. All in all, the food was really good! Tons of soda, water, coffee, tea as well as full bars are at your whim. To the left are some amazing views of the runways, some nearby hills and this evening, an amazing sunset! To the right is about 3x more seating with additional small food service areas, another bar and plenty of space to spread out. Go over here to begin as there will be more space available. Another big selling point, and something I've come to love over the past few years, were the showers. Taking a shower at an airport will likely unlock a new emotion! It's like meeting a best friend you didn't know you had or tasting a new favorite food. It's downright magical and worth experiencing! This was one of the nicer lounges we've been in from just about every standpoint. Space, view, food, drink, showers! Very worth stopping in.

This is definitely one of those times that you would want to see a half-star rating because I would have preferred to go 2.5 stars. Good: Lots of seating and different levels and areas; this lounge is huge. There are a variety of seating options, from plusher chairs that you could almost curl up and sleep in to more standard club chairs. In addition, there are a couple bars, many food stations, and even a pool table. Canned beverages are readily available at stations all across the facility. Bad: Possibly because of the sheer size of the place, the staff struggled to keep up with cleaning, both with food items on tables but also the bathrooms, which were not great. Speaking of not great, the food was not great, unfortunately. Thankfully I was not very hungry because there wasn't a ton of variety and many items were very bland. I wouldn't pay extra to come in here, but if you have access already, you could do worse than finding a place to pop a squat for a bit until it's time for your flight.

Food selection was limited to soup sandwiches, and dessert baked goods and cookies. Maybe because we arrived after dinner time? The spread also includes serve yourself alcohol, coffee machine, soda fountain. Entry fee varies. We got in free with Chase Reserve CC Priority Pass. I'll skip Comfort and HSBC next time and head straight to Primeclass Lounge downstairs.

As we have priority pass membership our lounge visits are free but usually the lounge costs at least $25. They have pretty good wifi and a good spread of food which includes a soup of the day, different sandwiches, fruits and drinks of all kind. I have been to many different lounges in different airports around the world but this one is starting to show its age. The furniture is getting old and the sofas are really uncomfortable plus they don't have enough charging outlets. So at some point the management of the lounge will have to update everything. The good part is that the Ataturk airport has lots of different options so if you don't feel satisfied with this one you can try other lounges which are within the same area of the terminal.
