If someone told me they were vegan, I would not believe them. Some must order items are the vegan prawns (which have an amazing texture and really taste like prawns) are my absolute favourite, along with the Peking duck that comes with pancakes, cucumber and hoisin sauce. The homemade sweet potato gnocchi, chickpea battered cauliflower, taro chips, and vegan fried chicken sliders are all tasty. The ambiance is really cute. The have loads of outdoor seating, and only a few indoor. We sat indoors during the summer and we were so hot, I'm talking dripping in sweat hot. Make sure you book accordingly. Although it was sauna hot, the service, ambiance, and taste all made up for it. I've been twice and I can't wait to go back again.

But it definitely got a lot more crowded after 7pm and the music was pretty loud. The vibe overall was amazing though! The food was definitely the highlight of the visit! We ordered the pork belly drunken noodle and BBQ King Salmon wrapped in banana leaf. I love the mixture of flavors and how good it was! We also ordered the crispy salt and pepper bug tails from the large plate and it was really tasty! I love the balance of the flavors in all the food! I didn't order the drinks, but my friends did and they said it was really good too! It was more on the sweeter side, but overall, was still really good! This place is definitely worth the hype! Go and visit them while you're in Sydney!

Food was good but I am only giving a three stars because of a few annoying things - I sent a message to them on their website a week in advance, hoping to make a reservation. No reply. It turned out that they do not take reservations, but still, a reply would have been nice - Food took FOREVER. I get it, a small restaurant and hence a small kitchen. But it shouldnt take over 20 mins to cook some dumplings. - waitress didnt know the menu? ("I dont' really know what is it, as it's the first day on the menu"). Not cool. - Tables are pretty close to one another, I didnt like how you cant help but to overhear others' conversation and vice versa. Dumplings were pretty decent ,so was the beef curry - meat was sooo tender + grilled yummy roti ! I would recommend this place if you are around the area, but if not, dont bother :)

We came on a Sunday at 1:00P and only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Most tables are on the covered outdoor patio with just a few others inside the open air setting. We started off with a raw plate to share, followed by individual entrées. + SALMON CEVICHE (A$28): Thin slices of salmon in a bright zesty citrus soy dressing, with dollops of avocado cream and lime aioli. The salmon was so smooth, buttery and super fresh. I rarely eat ceviche since I usually don't care for citrus flavors, but I enjoyed this since the salmon remained the star of the plate. + DAINTREE BARRAMUNDI FILLET GRILLED (A$38): A perfectly sized fillet was delicate, moist and didn't have any bones! The skin was grilled and crisp like a chip. Normally, I'm not a fan of skin on fish, but this was impeccable. A few cauliflower florets in a flavorful chermoula added a bold punch. I also loved the salted barra croquette, a fritter of potato and barramundi, which was fried to a golden brown and light inside. All of this was on top of a fresh mint yogurt which rounded out this very cohesive dish. Others in my group enjoyed the swordfish fillet and the fish of the day, which was a mahi mahi. Our waitress enticed us with two desserts which all of us shared as a sweet ending. + DARK CHOCOLATE PARFAIT (A$18): A rich chocolate pudding layered with Queen Garnet plums and topped with large chocolate shavings. The pudding was creamy and rich while the ripe plums added sweetness with a hint of tartness. + TOASTED COCONUT & MANGO CRUMBLE (A$16): A delightful refreshing coconut sorbet came with juicy cubes of fresh mango on top. Some granola crumbles provided crunch and substance to an otherwise light dessert. I never would have guessed this is both gluten-free and dairy-free. Our server was excellent and took wonderful care of us by checking back and keeping our waters full. We appreciated her recommendations as well. On top of the great service and delicious food, every dish had a lovely presentation and the pricing was reasonable for the quality of each plate.

We found this Korean BBQ b/c it was highly rated on Yelp and Google. Came before 6p and already a waitlist. We waited for about 40min for a table. Once seated, multiple servers set the table with kimchi and cold appetizers, meat, sauces, cooking ware, and more. Appetizers were done well and a few items you can self refill at the cold bar. We had the wagyu beef steaks, bacon, and beef bulgogi. We also ordered the seafood pancake and a few small items. All meat and ingredients were fresh and of good quality. The server changed the cooking plates frequently so it doesn't get too smoky. Recommended.

We made reservations for 4 people for 7PM. We were seated at a spacious table. We ordered about 6 plates of meat, 1 seafood pancake, beef soup, some seafood paste and some cold noodles. The meat quality was good. We really enjoyed the meat. Our seafood pancake was super fluffy, more like an egg texture. The pancake was really good. The banchan selections were very minimal, which was disappointing. We also had to share our sauce dishes and I felt like it wasn't enough to be shared between two people. Just an FYI that there will be some double-dipping involved. The service was meh. Our waitress seemed to be junior / new. When she was changing our grill and pulled the vent down to suck the smoke away, part of the vent fell and landed on top of our meat and grill. Our waitress also burned our meat because the fire of the grill was too high. We asked her manager to see if we can get some new meat since we couldn't eat our burnt meat. She was nice enough to replace the burnt meat with new meat. Based on my experience here, I would much rather have KBBQ in SoCal than in Sydney. There's better and more banchan selections, the meat quality is great, and the service is usually really good.
