I would give him a zero if I could. He I'd calling himself a pain Doctor. He has no other…read moreratings. He is rude, yells at you, refused to get my MRI or records stating he "has no time." On the first visit he told me he would do back injections. On the second he refused. He did not examine me. He yelled at me because I have a glass of wine with dinner. He's uncompassionate, rude, incompetent. He's a pulmonologist, not a certified pain doctor. He is not at Sutter, he has a private office. Don't go. I have multiple sclerosis, lupus, and severe scoliosis with degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. He gave me the lowest prescription of morphine possible. I'll go in hospice before I go to him.

Horrible!! My primary physician referred me to Turlock Pulmonary & Sleep, (TPS), in September…read more2021. I asked my Primary if I was supposed to call TPS and they said no Dr. Patel's office will call me. October nothing, November, nothing, December, nothing, I had a conversation with my primary and they said they would follow up with TPS. January 2022 I received a call telling me my insurance referral had expired and I had to get a new one! Finally I had My 1st appointment telephone appointment. I received 4 texts reminding me of our scheduled time. Dr Patel called me 3.75 hours AFTER our scheduled time! I vented about how unprofessional this was and in my business I wouldn't have any clients if I missed my appointments by so far without any communication as to why or when. 3 days later TPS called and said they had an opening for the sleep study. As it turned out I was the only patient that evening. TPS called to schedule another telephone appointment now with the physician assistant, who would review the results of the study with me. Once again I received 4 texts over several days reminding me of said telephone appointment. Once again my 3:00PM appointment didn't happen. Finally at 6:30pm I received a call from the PA. By then we had a house full of guests and I couldn't talk. Once again I was upset about the unprofessionalism of their scheduling. Any company that cannot even keep basic appointments must be incompetent and not worth my time or confidence. Still haven't heard back from TPS. I'm requesting the results to be sent to my Primary Care Physican so I can see the results. AVOID Turlock Pulmonary & Sleep Specialists. If they weren't medical board certified I'd presume they were a scam.
