First off you get some credit for pulling off Thai in the almost Alps. I'll give you that. You already have to appeal to a crowd used to many delicacies in the fair Basel outskirts.
The coconut curry sauce was as it should be, creamy with a little kick kiss. Kudos in the giant rice portion packed into that takeaway cardboard container.
If I were only better at reading those words on the menu board, I probably would have ended up with more than meat, curry, and rice. The vegetables looked tasty; too bad I didn't order any.
But I have nothing against a bowl of rice, chicken, and coconut sauce. That could do for a last meal. Although I'd probably also ask for some edamame or a spring roll to start, at least.
While I got takeaway this visit, there are plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy inside this pleasant Thai hillside oasis. read more
