I have had 10 Orthopedic surgeries in the past 4 years and most recently separated my pelvis and ripped my abdominal and adductor off the bone when I slipped in my garage. I started PT after 2 months in a wheelchair post-surgery. Pro-Motion got me back to the point that last week (5 months from being in the wheelchair) went elk hunting in MT and hiked 44 miles in the mountains climbing over 12,000 vertical feet. I wondered if I would ever function normally and do the things I love to do, but Michael and his team got me back better than I was, after Dr. Boone and the excellent surgeons at Proliance got me screwed back together. I highly recommend Pro-Motion Physical Therapy for your post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, or treating injuries to keep you from having surgery. They will do a great job for you like they have for myself and my family. Thanks Michael, I am very grateful for your attention and dedication in helping me recover!

My mother was initially placed in a room with another woman who had severe memory issues. This woman would get up in the middle of the night and put on my mother's clothing, eat her food, drink her water and even try to get into bed with her. The staff would simply laugh and try to redirect this woman, but my mother had just had surgery on her hip and needed an environment of peace and healing. They eventually relocated my mother to another room, but then she could not get even a jug of water or ice without getting herself into her wheelchair and using her legs to get down the hall to the nurses station to ask for ice or water. The button by her bedside, that would turn on the light outside her door, would go unanswered for 30 minutes or longer. The nurses station was usually empty, with maybe one person there who looked like they didn't have a clue about how to do their job. Facility is operating with a skeleton crew of people that are clearly unskilled, overworked, and extremely inefficient. My mother would have to wait for over an hour for pain medication after being told they would return right away with it. This happened over and over again. The food was atrocious. Her commode went for two days without being emptied. I could go on and on. The occupational therapists and physical therapists were actually pretty good, but clearly this facility does not have the manpower or enough, skilled workers or managers to run it efficiently. In my opinion, the people housed here, either permanently or on respite, are only slightly better off than they would be if they were sitting out on a sidewalk in their wheelchairs. These people would be better off receiving care from family members in their own homes. I pray for the aging community, of which I am one of, because the future looks bleak given the current state of care in this country for the elderly. Covid further damaged what was already very fragile and I just pray we can recover.

Communication was not there... which I could see the frustration. Communication is so important with your staff... They are people too... from housekeeping to the top brass... The CNAs were exceptional, they worked really hard to do there job and they did it well with the lack of staff they had to work with... The nurses were excellent very attentive.. Except for one male nurse I had a little problem with when he said he gave me my meds and didn't then treated me like I had Alzheimer'... that didn't go well...he had no idea why I was there other than rehab... The facility is very clean, the food needs a major change... I ate a lot of peanut and jelly sandwiches... the food was usually cold and not good... if you don't have an advocate and if you can't speak for yourself it's pretty scary... I felt like they were under staffed and the CNAs were doing there best.. a lot of times I would wait over an hour to have them to come in and change me...that is unacceptable ...as I couldn't put any weight on my leg...so I was bedridden.. and let me tell you that's a experience I hope to never go through again... The rehabilitation was good they pushed me when I didn't feel like doing the exercise... made me stronger... my exit was interesting and I thank the director of nursing for getting the paperwork through for me.. To take a hard, serious assessment of what your life has been and what you want it to be. Honestly if you're reading this now, you're probably just looking for excuses. Is there a spa? No. There are beautiful grounds that twinkle with frozen dew on crisp clear mornings. Isn't that enough? And do you - the addict reading this right now - think you deserve a spa? You don't. Seven years ago I drove myself away from my family to sundown. I was alone, I was scared. But I was more scared to not go. Of what I had to lose. Which was an awful lot. To the extent it was a choice, it was the best one I ever made. But it was that or live alone, die in a gutter maybe. You don't have a choice either. Pick up the phone and get on with your life.

I am so grateful for the staff and magic that the Sundown M Ranch has to offer. My counselor, Barb, has a passion for sobriety and recovery that is infectious. She gives detailed, professional and compassionate care to her parents. The other counselors were also very willing to help if Barb wasn't available. It is very easy to tell that they are passionate about their work and truly want to see every patient succeed in their recovery. I'm also part of the LGBTQ+ community. I was treated no differently than any other patient. I was accepted and respected for my nonbinary status. My pronouns, they/them, were respected and remembered by the counselors, house managers, administrative staff, housekeepers and kitchen staff. Every employee at the Ranch works to ensure the comfort and safety of every patient in their care. The food is incredible, the group therapy, lectures, one on one time with my counselor and interactions were very positive. The Ranch was truly there to help me save my own life and abstain from drugs and alcohol during treatment. I am 47 days sober and working every day to treat my chronic disease of addiction. Thank you so much to everyone involved at the Sundown M Ranch for the loving and compassionate care I received. I eagerly recommend this facility if you are truly ready to do the work of recovery!

Top notch! Exceptional! I have never been anywhere else where you start out with hands-on, one-on-one treatment. Jeff, or his assistant on occasion, was with me for each of our entire sessions. Jeff would do hands-on work with me, massage, stretching, or other procedures at every visit. On days that I came in with a headache, he would massage the affected areas to help relieve the pain. Wow!! He helped relieve the pain so that I could focus on other areas, which really makes sense and A LOT of difference!! Dr. Arkills is not only extremely competent, versatile, experienced, proficient, and skilled, but he is also compassionate. I have other medical issues we sometimes had to work around, and Jeff always knew what to do!! I must also mention his excellent professionalism and fabulous bedside manner. Jeff is such a great caregiver, always friendly, sincere, and genuine! I first saw Jeff for my back, and then I was referred again for my ankle, hips, neck, and shoulders. I have requested to return to him each time, and I will be returning again soon for help with strengthening to prevent reinjury and improve overall health and fitness. I also want to mention that everyone in the office is wonderful. From the front desk to the other care providers, everyone was always helpful, friendly, and professional. If you ever need physical therapy, go to GPS. You won't find anyone better to care for you. Thank you Jeff and everyone at GPS!

TLDR: got a massage from Jodie. Pros: calm, relaxing environment, good massage, felt safe. Cons:…read moretook me back late, ended early, didn't massage my trouble spot I indicated on 2 forms and told her about, wasn't really "full body". I went in to get an hour-long massage. The front office was ready for me 15 minutes early, had me fill out paperwork both on an iPad (telling them where I was sore and where they should focus on), and then a couple of paper forms (which also had you note spots where to focus on). They explained everything that I needed to fill out, and by the time I finished, it was right at the start of my appointment. When Jodie called me back, it was 5 minutes past my appointment time. I understand this is an experience that new clients usually have, with all the paperwork. When we got to the room, it was a nice space, with calm lighting and a unique decoration style, which I liked. I explained to her that I had chronic lower back pain for 2 years (which I also indicated on the 2 forms I filled out). She said she would do a full body massage, and then explained everything I needed to do clearly, and then left the room for me to undress, and was gone for at least 10 minutes. When she came back, she knocked and immediately entered, before I said "come in". I am thankful that I was ready and under the blanket. The massage was nice and relaxing, but it felt like there wasn't any main focus on my back at all. She went from my back (mostly upper, barely touching lower), slightly getting my upper arms, to my legs, feet, then I flipped over, and she did the front of my legs, then neck/shoulder area. This didn't really feel like my full body, and she didn't focus on the area I told her I was having trouble with. She asked me how the pressure was once on my back, and it was fine. She didn't ask how the pressure was when she moved to a new area, and I was kind of wincing because it was too much. I am not one to speak up around people I don't know, especially in unfamiliar environments, and I feel like if she asked more, it could have been fixed. Then, the massage was done, and it was 10 minutes before the hour ended, even though she started late! I was shocked that she both took me back late and ended early. If it were one or the other, I would have been fine with it.
