    Palak paneer. $13.99.

I wanted to give a lot to this restaurant, but I can't. I ordered several favorites, and I could not get beyond the dirty rice taste. This rice is NOT being washed before it's cooked. I make rice regularly including basmati. The rest of the dishes were not even worth taking home. It's a shame because the staff is very kind. I'm more disappointed than fussy. I might revisit in a year and see if it is better.

Great place for Tibetan/Nepali/Indian food! Came here with my husband and in-laws for an early dinner. Food: +Samosas- nothing special, just regular ole potato samosas +Strawberry Lassi- very delicious with a tangy flavor aftertaste +Tingmo- Tibetan hot buns- super bland and the sauce was just salty soy sauce +Kathmandu Daal Bhatt- loved this simple yellow daal +Naan- soft and buttery +Spicy Goat curry- the highlight of my dinner! very tasty goat meat cooked in curry, reminded me of kali puja back at home + Vegetable Jalfrezi- underwhelming; just a bunch of potatoes and peas mostly with a few cauliflower pieces. Service: Pretty poor service. No one was around to greet us when we walked in. I had to go all the way into the kitchen to call for someone. Then, another 10 minutes for water, and then another 10 to order. Ambience: Cozy restaurant with seating for 20 or so, but it got packed by the end of our dinner. Light hindi music playing in the background. All non-Indian clientele so the locals seem to love it too. -Hungry Hungry Pongy

Still a good place to get some indian/nepalese food. I don't know if this place is associated with the new place in the REI strip mall, which I am not a fan of, but that is another yelp. I got my ever lovin' palak, while another got the pork vindaloo, and chicken masala. I loved the Pork Vindaloo, but was not a fan of the chicken masala, it had too much smoky something flavor that I wasn't a fan of. Will come again, but not too soon as winter is upon us and this place does not have an arctic entry. Brrrr.

Overall average food, a little overpriced. It has a combination of Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan food and has a vast menu comprising We tried their Tingmo (Tibetan) which had 2 steamed buns. The menu said is served with mint chutney and Yak and Yeti hot sauce. They only gave the hot sauce. Did not like these as they had no taste to it. We asked for the mint chutney which they brought out but it resembled more of mint in yogurt dip. For the main course we had the chicken tikka masala and their dal bhatt. The Dal and chicken dish were both okay. We requested for mild spice level which they accommodated. Did not find the food flavorful enough. For breads they just had 3 choices - plain naan, garlic naan and the tingmo. We tried their plain as well as e garlic naan but both were just average. Service was fast and efficient. There were only two servers and both were constantly busybetween the different tables. The interior is very casual with few tables and looked dated. Even the exterior looks run down. A very average experience, nothing extraordinary. Did not go back to this place in our trip as other options were available.

Hubby and I both ordered the spicy pork. It was so tender and perfectly spiced. Service was fast and friendly. Great value for the money. The baked mushrooms were good but ordinary just as the beef dumplings. I enjoyed the strawberry lassi. I'd get it again.

There are a plethora of menu options, surely to satisfy everyone's desired flavor profiles. My go to order is the Chicken Korma, Paneer Kulcha, and Mango Lassi. The Chicken Korma is tender, the sauce is super creamy as well as flavorful with that signature nutty fruity mixture. The Paneer Kulcha is also wonderful, it has just the right amount of cheese in it that it's not greasy. Lastly, the Mango Lassi, it is very mango, but still remains rich and yogurty. We started with the sampler pakoras, which was perfect for a first visit because you get a little bit of everything, vegetable samosa, vegetable pakora, paneer pakora, and chicken pakora. Honestly just a great way to try a mix without overthinking it, and everything came out fresh and really good. For mains, we ordered the chicken tikka masala at medium heat, and I'd say it definitely leans more mild. It was good, but didn't quite have the depth or spice I personally look for in a tikka masala. It almost ate more like a tomato-based dish rather than that rich, bold flavor I usually expect. Still enjoyed it, just not as flavorful as I was hoping for. We also got the tandoori mixed grill with sheikh kabab, tandoori chicken, and tandoori shrimp, and that was a great call, especially with garlic naan. Probably my favorite part of the meal and a really good option if you want to try a few different things. Service was super fast even though the place was busy, and everything just felt really taken care of, waters stayed filled, to-go boxes came out right away, no waiting around for anything. Overall, really good food, great service, and an easy first visit. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and order more from the menu.

Starting out dipping veggie Samosas in mint sauce or red sauce( I don't remember the name) was a scrumptious beginning to a tasty meal. Hubby ordered a rice pilaus-chicken biryani. All partnered well with a piping hot cup of milky tea. Music was a fun Indian rap like background with plenty of nice pictures to create an eastern atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that exudes warmth and authenticity, accentuated by traditional décor and soothing music. The waitstaff was impeccably dressed, inviting, and friendly. The menu is a delightful journey through India's diverse tapestry of flavors, and a buffet is available during the week. From the moment we took our first bite of the food, the rich spices and freshly grilled notes were simply mesmerizing. The butter chicken was a showcase of culinary mastery -- tender chicken in a creamy, tomato-based sauce that was perfectly balanced. The garlic naan bread was so delicious, we ordered a second basket! For those seeking something unique, the lamb biryani was an absolute revelation. Aromatic basmati rice layered with succulent lamb, enriched with saffron, was the star of the evening. Every dish is crafted with such care that it tells a story of tradition and passion. What truly sets Everest apart, however, is its impeccable service. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to enhance your dining experience. They guided us through the menu perfectly, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were never empty. In a world where dining out is often about convenience, Everest restores the joy of eating out with its exquisite food, charming atmosphere, and attentive service, while still catering to those seeking a quick meal by having a drive through.
