WARNING: I'm an international student graduated from a…read morerenowned university. I applied for the H1B visa this year and I wanted to have a plan B in case I'm not selected from the lottery. I paid ILIS for finding an accreditted MBA school that can provide me a day 1 CPT program that allows me to work full time while taking classes. They are also responsible to help you apply and get registered at the school of your choice. They gave me the list of required documents for applying and said they can expedite the application process if I submit the documents through them. So instead of applying directly to the school, I submitted all the documents to ILIS agency. About 1-2 weeks after, I asked them to confirm if my application had been submitted and they said it had. However, I also called the MBA school directly just to double check that my application is in process. It turned out that they DID NOT submit my application. So I emailed the agency and they said they are sorry. The real problem is... they still don't know what the fuck they are doing and what the fuck they should do to complete the process. It turned out that there was the most important document that my university official has to sign by a certain date in order for me to start any school, but the agency didn't mention a single thing for the past 3-4 weeks. Not even now. I was told by the MBA advisor about this and I confirmed that with my university official. I could've just gotten one signature to transfer. However, the deadline for the document has now passed and I have to leave this country, get a new visa, new I-20 to start the MBA. ILIS is full of college students working there who don't know anything about legal stuff. I can't get my time and opportunities back... and I really don't know what to do at the moment. They are selling consulting "service" but they don't know the school's admission policy AND legal stuff. Their ignorance and carelessness are jeopardizing internal students' status and this should be punished. I really would like to consider a lawsuit.
