It's often hard to pin point which of us is the mama and which one is the daughter- we wouldn't have it any other way. Growing up has been the hardest thing we've ever tried to do, so we finally decided to give up trying and embrace the spunky little girl in ourselves that we had been trying so hard to silence. We're late. A LOT. We cry, laugh, scream, and sometimes all in the same day. We tend to stray from traditional anything & live for the unexpected.
History
Established in 2008.

Thus began Ya Ya Gurlz!
Still searching for the mold we came from, we listen to our music too loud, have more fun than we should on nights when we shouldn't, do our damnedest not to conform, & LIVE our lives to the fullest. We stay as far away from cookie-cutter "norm" as we can & live for the unexpected. We wanted to create a place where a woman could feel good about being EXACTLY who she is! Mama taught me to take pride in being a woman & appreciate the imperfections, along with the blessings.

Meet the Business Owner: Summer C.
I am Summer, chaos coordinator/jane of all trades/outlaw/manager of Ya Ya Gurlz, but, 1st and foremost, I am a single mom of a feisty/smart/adorable daughter. As a lifelong area resident, graduating from Jim Ned HS & Hardin Simmons University, I chose to stay local because, well, I’m a bit of a homebody and don’t like change much. Entrepreneurship is in my blood from great grandparents down. Having an outlet where I can make women feel comfortable in the body God gave them is something I love doing. We all struggle in some way with ‘that looking glass’, I certainly do. It’s my job to help you see the beautiful that you are and I take that seriously.
