We had many loads after living on a boat so had to get to a laundromat where I could get a bunch done all at once. The first impression on the way in is that it is bright, clean with lots of washers and dryers. There is a change machine that works well plus there are snacks behind the counter for dry cleaning just in case you get the munchies during the wait. The person that works in the dry cleaning area is so nice as well. It was very busy the day (a Saturday) but I still found enough washers and dryers to get everything done. The walkway between the dryers and folding tables was a bit tight so you had to suck in as people went by to get their clothes out of the dryers but everyone was so nice & kind that it fun with all of us in the same laundry basket. The washers were clean outside and, more importantly, inside which cleans your clothes well. Prices were decent and the dryers got my clothes dry without begging for more quarters. I recommend Modern Laundromat and Cleaners. It is a great place to get your laundry done in good time. You could even get your shopping done at Vons, have lunch at Mozzarelli's Pizza or just get a drink & snack and read magazines in between loads.

The small sink that used to be available for rinsing or washing your hands has been removed. This leaves only the tiny bathroom sink to rinse out detergent, softener or spot remover from the bottles or to wash your hands, inconvenient. Staff and most patrons are nice. I would suggest avoiding peak use hours for best experience.

However, when I entered, the woman who identified herself as the manager was extremely rude and began yelling at my boyfriend, insisting that he remove his clothes from the dryer. When he explained that his clothes were already drying, she threatened to lock him out, even though it was well before closing time. This isn't the first time that customers have reported such behavior from this individual, and it's clear that the business owner doesn't seem to be involved in managing the establishment. Overall, I would strongly recommend that potential customers take their business elsewhere, as the service and treatment are unacceptable.

The dryers worked extremely well, drying towels quickly!! I also liked that you only put the time you need on the dryers! 25 cents per 10 minutes. I dried my towels with only 75 cents!
