The staff was very helpful, let us use left luggage when we arrived early and let us settle our bill the night before/gave us instructions for leaving our keys when we checked out very early. Location is convenient to buses at the visitor center and to the city center for shopping, sight seeing, and dining.

There is a restaurant at the front and a bar/lounge at the back overlooking the river and loch which was very pleasant as the sun set. The menu showed a good range, including locally sourced ingredients. A selection of beers, proper real ale as well as fizzy keg (if you must), though I didn't get as far as what looked like a good selection of malt whisky. All of this was at a good price, not burger flippin' cheap but I certainly didn't feel like I was paying over the odds at all. I can't think of a reason why the Caberfeidh shouldn't have 5 stars.
