So impressed to find a friendly cafe with such delicious vegan options alongside traditional omnivorous Scottish meal so far remotely placed in the Northwest Highlands. These proprietors know exactly what's going on. Just recently opened in the Craft Village of Barnakeil, just northwest of Durness, the Whale Tale is such a worthy and heart-filling stop for lunch. But Cocoa Mountain is not gimmicky, and Cocoa Mountain is NOT sub-par by any stretch of the imagination. Excellent is what Cocoa Mountain is. The hot chocolate really is as rich as it looks (not to mention the glorious, velvety smears of even more chocolate around the cup that one can inhale with a spoon), and the handmade chocolates are unique, flavor-balanced, and perfectly respectable.
