We stayed at the RV park here for 8 days while in town for work. I absolutely loved it!! The sites were spacious; each one had a nice little yard. 5/5 for the RV park would definitely come back. As far as the winery, the grounds are well kept. The wine was delicious, I would definitely recommend getting the 5 flight sampler. The food was just okay, wouldn't come back for that. The server was very sweet but they seemed busy, took awhile to get the food. Not too big a deal since we got to sip on their delicious wine. I do think it's worth stopping by, perhaps for lunch though. read more

Stopped by on a beautiful, but windy Sunday afternoon. There were many enjoying the 9-hole golf course. We went in to sample the wines and grab a bite in the restaurant. This is a pretty setting; you drive into the Clubhouse/Restaurant through the vineyards. I was not too impressed with the pruning of the grapes; they did not have adequate shade like I was used to seeing in the Sunnyslope vineyards (seemed overpruned). But maybe it works for them IDK. So we started with a wine flight, 1 oz. in each of five wines. I selected Chardonnay, Reisling, Reserve Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The white wines weren't all that impressive; the Chardonnay was the weakest watery wine I ever remembering tasting. The Riesling wasn't bad but it really lacked in tartaric acid crispness. The Reserve Merlot wasn't bad either but could use more acid as well. I thought he Cabernet Franc was decent; this is a grape that vintners typically make red blends with. The Petit Verdot was OK but it lacked some boldness & tannin that this grape usually provides. Prices were reasonable for a botique winery but I wasn't persuaded to buy any bottles. So on to the meal. I ordered the Steamer Clams in white wine and they tasted very good. I was impressed that the broth was not oversalted and they brought some delicious toast to dip into it. I asked if the raspberry and blueberry cheesecake were NY style and neither our servers or the manager knew what NY style meant so I simply ordered the NY Style Cheesecake to be sure. It was indeed NY style dense and decent but it had some kind of heavy cream layer on top about 3/8" thick. It wasn't bad but it did mask some of the cheesecake rich taste and threw the dessert out of balance IMO. Our server was friendly and fairly attentive but lagged bringing the check when we were finished. It's a fun setting and there is a group dining room. Some rough edges did show through; the manager was obnoxiously loud and the back house ice porter came out in a sleeveless shirt to refill the ice bin (yuk). They do have dinner specials on Saturdays and live music on Friday & Saturday nights so this might be a good time to check them out. read more

This place is beautiful. I love the old quaint vibes. My friend and I came in for wine tasting and a bite to eat and the staff were so friendly! They were quick, attentive and even suggested we come back tonight for dinner and a live performance. (And we are) If you are looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere, great food and wine, you need to come here! Highly recommend read more

Identify crisis! Is it a winery, golf course, bar, restaurant, tasting room, fine dining, event center or none of the above? My crispy shrimp were cold and very raw! Husband's flat iron steak was actually pretty tasty. Place was slammed on a Monday evening and could not handle it! Has not been remodeled since 1975 and the boob lights with fluorescent bulbs on the maroon walls was really sad. No sandwiches served after 5pm- not even a burger. Expensive menu and $3 split charge are hard enough when food and service aren't excellent. Wish this place could figure themselves out. The wine actually was pretty tasty. read more

Went to the all you can eat crab boil..absolutely delicious! We're not wine drinkers but all you can eat crab-Yes Please! Staff was amazing, helpful and attentive. You put a credit card down up front so no cash/cards being handled during dinner. Full bar service available and heard their wines were priced well and tasted good. Very casual, outdoors and word to the wise, flys are crazy at a picnic and an outdoor crab feed is no different! There were some of those electronic fly/bee/bug spinners on the tables but not all of them. We heard several repeat guests saying they brought their own! Regardless, sausage, huge shrimp, baby red potatoes and corn on the cob were delicious! We were kept supplied in drawn butter and crab until we couldn't possibly eat another bite. We'll be back! read more

Beautiful grounds, right on the snake river - chef was kind and accommodating, made my son a hamburger that was not on the menu. Drinks were great, live music, waitress was very sweet. Overall a great experience with a beautiful view! read more

Food was good. Service was good. Ambiance was ok. The country singer sang WAY to fast. His tempo was on warp speed, The restaurant regulars must of known because by 7 it was as empty pretty much. We sat on the patio and no one else was out there. We stayed in the Chardonnay cabin and the mattress was like a hammock, that needs fixed asap. 0 for that. read more

We didn't eat there but the food looked really good. Fun place at the golf course and friendly staff. We had some Chardonnay and thought it was pretty good. Nice inside. Not sure where geir wine comes from or where it's processed but they do grow grapes there. Update: came back the next day for a not cheap dinner (expensive menu!) . Got water and left after 15 mins of no service. We have plenty of food in our rv. Oh well. I mean if you're going to charge 50 for a steak you better have decent service and a tablecloth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ t I'll read more

The food in the restaurant for dinner was similar to bar food. The front desk was very polite when we we checking in to the RV park. The full hookups we not placed with much thought of an RV using them. The trees need to mature. Overall the experience was ok. read more

Its a beautiful place. We didn't eat there and were not golfers. We haven't been there since the new ownership. The previous owners had a peach sangria that was AWESOME. However, although I was excited to learn they also had it available and I bought several bottles of the wine. I just opened a bottle for a special occasion. I was so disappointed in the taste. I don't think they taste it before they put it in the bottles to sell. It was bitter and flat. No hint of a peach sangria. I wish I had asked for a taste test first and I would have saved $100. Very disappointed. read more

Stayed here in the rv this week, a quick stopover at this Harvest Host. The winery has a lovely setting. Along with the campground- the vineyard, golf, and a restaurant... all amongst beautiful vines along the river. We ordered a quick dinner to take to the camper at check-in: grilled chicken nachos and a grilled chicken salad. Decent amount of chicken on both meals, and good sized portions overall. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I dare say too much cheese on the nachos. It was hard to find some chips that weren't drowning. Good for some like him, just a bit cheesy for me. ;) Both meals had great flavor though. A very beautiful place with friendly service. Nice stop for the night. read more

We stopped at this winery on our way home from Twin Falls for lunch on Sunday September 5th. As most places are, they were light staffed. However, our waitress worked her butt off and treated everyone nicely and didn't ignore a single table. The food was absolutely scrumptious and the wines were all delicious. I did a wine flight and a mimosa with stuffed mushrooms and crispy chicken wraps. I want it all again!!! My husband got a bacon cheese burger with fries. The fries were so good but we were so full it was a shame we couldn't finish the last few. The place is beautiful and we were not expecting such a hidden gem! We are excited to go back. read more

My wife, daughter, and I were camping at the state park for three days and we decided to try this place for lunch. We ordered a side of mushrooms, which were cooked in cheese. Mushrooms are not my favorite vegetable, but they were good. I had the fajita chicken salad which was fresh, hot and delicious. I would order this again. My daughter had the coconut chicken with clam chowder and she said it was delicious. She said the clam chowder was excellent as well. My wife had the chef salad and she said it was fresh, good portions and delicious. I had a Hefeweizen beer, which was outstanding, and my wife and daughter had a flight of wine. They bought a bottle of rose' to go. Our waitress was Sharon and we had excellent service. I know with inflation prices have gone up everywhere but this place is outstanding and worth going to again. Even if you don't drink the food is great. Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

Stayed the night with Harvest Host and had a nice lunch and dinner. The steamed clams were as good as you can get and the stuffed mushrooms were equal! The service on the other hand was, well friendly but none existent. Lol If you ordered a glass of wine it came after you were done eating. Everything was like that, had to hunt them down to get the bill! Maybe they were just having a bad day? read more

If you want a really good Old Fashioned, ask for Monica. The only thing that would make it great would be if they used a round ice ball, other than that the balance of alcohol, sweet and flavor was perfect. The charcuterie board was good as well. If you've come here for the wine, don't bother. The only wine that came close to being palatable was the Syrah. While the Blue Noir and Reserve Merlot started out with a really nice bouquet, the finish fell flat on its face. The Cabernet Franc tasted like it had been open for several days without being re-corked under vacuum. The Cabernet Sauvignon was lackluster at best. The view? Spectacular, no doubt about it. read more

Took the drive from Boise to check out the winery for the first time. Walked in the door and waited by the sign reading, "Please wait to be seated." 20 minutes later, after being completely ignored by 3 employees, started perusing bottles of wine for sale. After 25 minutes, no acknowledgment of even being there, decided to go try Cold Springs. Could not even comment on how Y Knot wines are, as never afforded the opportunity. read more

Wanna have some fun for the day? Then try visiting the Y Knot Winery and Golf Course. Golf, eat and wine taste all in one day with only a short drive from Boise. We tested our golfing skills on the 9 hole Y Knot course with much laughter and fun despite a "few" misdirected shots!! Holes #3- a hard right; #6 - bring your big draw driver and #8-bring your hook, are all challenging holes! And do not draw or hook on #2 cuz you won't be able to fish your lost ball out of the treatment ponds on the left side of the fairway - GOOD BY BALL!!! The Golf Course is well maintained and the greens are slower than most courses but very wiggly and challenging. Lunch was enjoyable with great service and the chance to taste some excellent Y Knot wines via one of their tasting ladders. I selected the Semillon and or the Syrah as my favorites of the day? Highly recommend you grab some friends and visit Y Knot for your next Idaho adventure. Try it - You may like it....ALOT! PS. That is me after chipping in for a birdie on #3!!! read more

I was so excited to stay at this park and then very disapponted. Nowhere do they tell you where the RV park actually is in relation to the winery OR where to check in.. We parked at the winery and I checked in at the tasting bar with general directions to get to the park - past the house next to the old campground across the street and to the new - a map would have been appreciated. Even more so, it would have been nice to have a way to check in on line - especially since I had prepaid. Usually when we camp for one night we dont unhook. This is the least level site of anywhere we have ever stayed. We had "bananas" to use under the tires on the low side but would have needed several more inches to actually be level. I hoped, like some places we've stayed, they would have a golf cart or some way to take us to the winery. It was 105 out and just too far for us to walk in the heat. They are a winery that may some day figure out how to also run their RV park but in the meantime we sat in the out of level RV surrounded by muddy ground and left the next morning. This is not somewhere I would recommend to a club, a group or another individual for sure. Unfortunately, in the future we will bypass this "RV park" and never get to taste the wine. read more

I have visited this location many times in the past when it was Crossings. A few years ago it was purchased and the name changed. Things seem to have steadily gone down hill since. Over the past two years, the organization of the bar, restaurant, and golf operations has just gotten worse. No one seems to know what to do on busy weekends and customer service is out of the question. Employees actually started arguing with each other as me and my friends were trying to pay for our rounds of golf. We attempted to have dinner one evening but the staff was overwhelmed with the thought of a party of eight and did not hide their displeasure. We decided to venture elsewhere. The one nice addition is their new RV section. However, we will be looking elsewhere for our gatherings moving forward. read more
