The butcher itself sells really high quality produce. They have won awards for their Welsh black beef and Welsh lamb. Chatting to Brian the proprietor was a really pleasure as meat is clearly his passion and he was keen to talk about the best cuts and the best way to prepare certain pieces, my boyfriend was in his element! As well as the butchers, they have a deli/produce store at the back and we came away with a few products. It was Brian who told us about Cennin*, the restaurant upstairs run by his wife on front of house, and Aled Williams, of Great British Menu fame, in the kitchen. For some people they may have gone a little overboard on the decoration though. The coffee shop's menu is fairly comprehensive, they serve a cracking cup of coffee, and the range of cakes is impressive. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic, and gave us some great recommendations of other places to visit on Anglesey. The gift shop at the front of the store is like a tourist gold mine, again very tightly packed with a whole plethora of goods. Cards, themed goods, items of clothing, childrens toys, jewellery and ornaments. Mostly of the highest quality, however, on the whole, a little pricey. Definitely targeted at the steady stream of tourists that are attracted to Moelfre though.
