Went here for a date night for the first time after hearing my about it from a neighbor. Being from a larger city and missing some of the nicer/ more unique places to visit- this place is SO awesome! Great ambience - great food selection - and great service. Or server actually had another party of 30!!! And she still managed to come by a few times to check on us. The manager on duty was so so attentive- and filled in for her since she was slammed. He even comp'd one of our starters because he didn't like the way it looked. Now THAT' is service, and attention to detail! We had a couple items off the starter plates and the meat lovers charcuterie option and they were all really good and really fresh (I am a food snob- I was very impressed!). Drinks were creative and all hit the spot. Also- shout out to this place for have so many Gluten Free options. I have a severe Gluten allergy and appreciate all the delicious options. Oh!! Almost forgot- we ordered the Gluten free S'mores flatbread for dessert- and just a heads up: you may smell a hint of cauliflower in the crust (as that's the GF crust base)- but you don't taste it in the dessert!!! I'm sure I'll get some disagreement in that, but my husband also enjoyed it- and he doesn't even have to eat gluten free. Great trip app around- can't wait to go back!

This place is fantastic! I came over from Jackson, WY to visit a special friend, and the cocktails are better than basically any place in Jackson (creative, tasty, and beautiful to look at). I also loved the ambiance (dark but not too dark, comfy booths, and relaxed). The server was also very attentive. I will be back!

Great cocktails!

We were walking by the entrance, guarded by a bouncer guy, and I asked "Is this a gentleman's club??" It just had that aura to it from the outside. The guy replied that it was a speakeasy, and he invited us inside to take a look. As we descended the stairs, the sticky humid air from the street gradually gave way to a cool, dark refuge for cocktail bliss. We tried the vesper and the gimlet. They were both perfectly executed with a nice creative twist. The atmosphere is relaxing, and you can choose to sit at the bar where you can have the opportunity for collegial conversation with fellow drinkers, or you can hide away in one of the many booths. Definitely a bar worth trying!!

#1 place for Cocktails and amazing ambiance. The staff is also so welcoming and makes every time coming to Xviii a great experience!

DARLING SPEAKEASY that we stumbled upon while in Idaho Falls one night. We had seen a play at the Colonial Theatre across the street and wandered into this place afterward not knowing what it was. What a great surprise. A very unassuming front door made us wonder if it was even open. We knew it was a cool place as soon as we pulled the door open. Great service, good drinks and badass bartenders. Highly recomme

This place has the potential to create a vibe. It has a very stylish appeal and should be the best place for vacationers. Still a should go!

I'm so glad food this good has finally arrived in Idaho Falls!!! We went out to celebrate and try their brand new food menu and everything on it looks amazing! The servers and bartenders were so attentive, charming, and all seemed genuinely excited about the cocktails and new food menu. The atmosphere is killer, like we were in a different city, or even time period, with super cool speakeasy ambiance that showcases Idaho Falls' prohibition era underground tunnels and lava rock foundation. This is my new favorite place in town and I'm so excited that it's here! The cocktails are appropriately priced for the complex, thoughtfully crafted, beautiful classic and original works of art that they are. I've heard some locals are shocked by the drink prices, but this is a far cry from a jack and coke in a grungy dive bar! XVIII serves up style taste and class in gorgeous glassware. And they have an amazing zero proof/mocktail menu too, for those who either don't or want to punctuate their drinking. If you love life and yourself, you belong at XVIII!

Their mini chicken sliders are insanely good, but be aware that their prices are pretty high.

We walked in to a live band of jazz and felt like we had been taken back in time. Soiled Dove in Idaho Falls is a hidden gem for those craving hearty comfort food with a Western twist. Nestled in a cozy, rustic space adorned with vintage decor and warm lighting, this spot feels like a cross between a frontier saloon and a modern eatery--ideal for casual dinners, date nights, or post-adventure refueling. Perfect for a date night or just an out of town get away like we had. The drinks are ANOTHER LEVEL. I was boring with a smokey old fashion that left my hair smelling amazing the next morning. The man on my arm got a soiled dove #2 and it was tasty if you like a lot of sweetness. We met someone outside the place named Shawn who was a local there and he said the food was life changing. His go to: the meat balls and feta salad. Shout out to the boss babe who clearly either owned or lead the establishment. Total Sicilian Mob Boss vibes. You inspire me, Sis. From your outfits to the way you carry yourself, you are it girlfriend! Your staff made us feel at home and the security was tight. We will be back next Sturgis trip.

She also spilled water on my husband and the table and didn't offer to clean it up or acknowledge it. The drinks were extremely overpriced -- a simple double Maker's Mark was $28. At that price I could have bought an entire bottle and had a better evening without this experience. To make things more confusing, a gratuity fee was added to only certain people at the table instead of the whole group. The atmosphere also wasn't very welcoming. If you're looking for a fun night out with good service, I would recommend XVIII instead. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we expected for the prices being charged.

We followed it with the corned beef soup, which was more like a rich, hearty stew. The tender brisket literally melted in your mouth. And for the potato lovers--this place is heaven! Mashed, home fries, and balsamic fries... we just had to try it all. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't pass up GMA's "Slutty" Peanut Butter Brownie. Warm, topped with ice cream, whipped cream, cookie crumbles, Fruity Pebbles, fresh strawberries, and hot fudge... and yes, we finished it. Now we're officially in a food coma! A huge thank you to our Uber driver--and owner of the Yellowstone Motel--for recommending this unique spot. Between the amazing food and a fun LA born server it made for one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. Thank you, Ava--we'll definitely be back!

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.
