We tried one of their chocolate desserts, a chocolate chip cookie and a matcha drink. All of them were great.. so great that I ended up buying a pistachio brookie to go. To this day we regret not buying more stuff to bring back home. The service was great and quick. The place was clean and cute to dine in with a few tables! Overall I'd definitely stop by if I'm in Barcelona again!

There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one

All the donuts are all handmade and it was hard to choose just two to try. My friend got a matcha one while I went with Oreo. Both were absolutely fresh and delicious. They both had a white cream that oozed out after you take a bite. Very good! We also got coffee there too which was pretty decent.

Items Selected: Chocolate Frappe…read moreDulce de Leche Sugar and Raspberry Jam Tahini Pistachio Established in 1992 by a Greek ex-patriot in Barcelona, Lukumas Holes & Coffee was the third Breakfast stop on Friday, a visit earlier in the week prevented by the Doughnuts Shop's Cash-only policy but the wait perhaps fortuitous as the shelves were fully stocked on arrival with several of the glazed rings still warm to touch. Located on Carrer del Torrent de l'Olla, essentially an ally with clotheslines hanging overhead and access limited to those traveling by foot or bike, it was just prior to 11h00 that a party of two entered the small space where an English-fluent couple was chatting and enjoying Coffee, the same server present as during the first visit immediately complimenting one guest's T-Shirt featuring a Pig and thus kicking off a lengthy five-person conversation about the movie Okja on Netflix. Small and homey in its design, a single glass case of Donuts on the counter in front of an Espresso Machine with a small plastic Pig and map of Greece the only real decorations aside from colorful seating for four, it was after weighing both the choices and remaining appetite that the decision was made to invest in three Doughnuts plus a Chocolate Frappe, the drink cool and creamy but unfortunately overwhelmed by unsweetned Whipped Cream which made the last several sips mostly undrinkable. Moving on to the Donuts, Rings and Holes of several traditional flavors in addition to a few novelties offered next to Bagels, it was with two filled choices and one topped in sweetened Tahini and crushed Pistachios that the order was comprised, the bases all identical with an egginess reminiscent of Brioche while the toppings and fillings were all quite good, the Sugar and Raspberry Jam far lighter and more natural than many found Stateside while the Dulce De Leche pocket featured thick Caramel beneath Vanilla Glaze and Cinnamon Streusel.

Bathrooms are located downstairs in the back and are for customers only. Employees spoke limited English but were patient with our constantly changing orders. Drinks are just how I remembered them since there are no longer Dunkin' locations in the bay area: not too acidic or too sweet. Of course not as good as artisan coffee shops but still yummy and good for a chain (gotta keep in perspective!). Credit cards accepted

This was our first time visiting Barcelona and this restaurant with our friends for dinner. We passed by and liked the posted menu in English. The place was packed with patrons for dinner, therefore we assumed this was a good local place for us to stop for dinner. Despite that the place was packed with customers we scored a table for four in the rear of the restaurant. I started with and enjoyed my portal (blanco Joven), which is a dry garnacha blanca 90% sauvignon Blanc and Viognier for 4 Euros. I enjoyed my patatas pulled pork bravas potatoes with carnitas, poutine sauce and chilli sour cream for 12 Euros. My friend also enjoyed his patatas pulled pork bravas potatoes. We all enjoyed our tapas. I also ended my dinner with a Cerv Jarra cervezas draft beer for 4.90 Euros. My friend also enjoyed the same cervezas draft beer. My total bill for the four of us was 81.30 Euros or USA $94.44 based on the current exchange rate. Our server Contado, who also spoke English, served us very well. After we visited I found one other nearby Alsur Cafes, which may or may not be affiliated with this Alsur Cafe restaurant. We agreed we will return here again. More to come regarding tomorrow's tour of the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.
