History
Established in 1995.
Ron Lykens was caught in a downsize move from a screen printing company where he had worked as Marketing Director for a number of years. With no job, no income, and two daughters in college and grad school, Ron realized he could start his own screen print business from scratch.
After a couple of days talking it over with his wife Joanne, Ron set out to write a business plan - and Xtreme Wear was born.
After about a year, the orders were getting larger and more consistent, and Xtreme Wear needed more room. In January of 2003, Xtreme Wear moved into its new home on Aspen Way in DuBois.
On July 1st, 2013, after 18 years of hard work, Ron retired from Xtreme Wear and transferred ownership of the company to Rich. Rich has already begun to roll out big changes, and is dedicated to bringing Xtreme Wear to its highest possible level.
Meet the Business Owner: Richie S.
Richie grew up in Clearfield where he still lives today with his wife Brandi and three beautiful daughters-Elle, Mia, and Sydney. Racing motocross used to be one of his favorite pastimes, but today he has settled in to safer hobbies, such as golfing and coaching Elle's pee wee soccer team.
