I got my nose pierced today here and I had a fabulous experience. The shop was very clean and friendly. DJ Needlz (@DJ.Needlz) did my piercing and he was extremely professional and helpful. He had a lot of positive energy that helped me relax for my piercing. He walked me through all the steps as he was doing it and made sure I didn't have any unanswered questions. I went here for a conch piercing and left very disappointed. The piercer was very unhelpful and had poor customer service. You aren't allowed to record anything in there and the room was not very welcoming. I went in for a conch piercing and left with a hoop in the wrong spot. I don't know a whole lot about piercing but you most certainly don't pierce with a needle and cork and stick a hoop in there. It was very painful and she gave me very poor advice for how to clean it and take care of it. After doing research on why it hurt so bad I figured out getting a hoop is highly discouraged as it makes the healing process super difficult. The front desk worker was very nice and helpful and I can not speak for the tattoo part of this shop but the piercing is awful. You definitely get what you pay for here. i have went here for most of my piercings! theyre great. courtney is the best. not sure if she still works there but she was the best. although everytime i get pierced with their jewelry i end up with a piercing bump and i clean my jewelry great. dial soap and water in a squeeze bottle, sometimes even use salt water as an alternation. i think its their jewelry or the lube they use but theyre great other than that! read more

Karisa was super professional and answered all the questions i had! i got my nipples pierced by her and it was quick as can be, in and about in maybe 10 minutes. she went over all the aftercare and asked questions i wouldn't have ever thought of but were definitely important to my healing! overall 10/10 i would definitely recommend her read more

I got my septum pierced here on 12/29/23, and besides the lady at the front counter, everyone was nice, and the piercing itself did not hurt. The only thing is that she missed up the piercing so badly. She went in through the sweet spot and exited through the cartilage at the very bottom of my nose. She stopped halfway through, and I guess that is where the needle started to go downwards, and I could feel the cartilage popping. The piercing is crooked and kind of flips under my nose, so you can't even see it. I could tell by the look on her face and how she immediately said you are done and walked away that she missed up. I email the manager, and I am still waiting for a response. I got my nose piercing done here a year ago, and they did amazing, thats why i came back, but i will never come back here. read more

I wanted to go here with a friend to possibly get a nose piercing. I called ahead, they said they do walk in only for piercings and to head on over. We arrived at 8p on a Saturday (they supposedly close at 10p), the shop looked almost empty. We barely got out of the car, and we're talking amongst ourselves putting our masks on about to walk in when someone from the shop opened the door, put a sign on the door that said the shop was CLOSED FOR A SHOP OUTING, and shut the door in our faces without saying a word. So rude! Literally everyone in the shop saw us about to walk in and just turned away. Not a great way to treat potential customers, especially during Covid when small businesses are suffering. Why would you be so rude and turn away business?? Even just a simple acknowledgment of us and then kindly letting us know they were going to close early or for a short time would have been perfect. But they "closed" a full 2 hours before the stated time and then literally locked us out as we were walking up. I don't get it at all, but I definitely wouldn't go here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on the low level of customer service and passive aggressiveness we experienced. read more

Staff are nice but It felt really overpriced I only got an outline of a heart on my finger, size no bigger than a penny, and it was 100 dollars. I waited a bit over an hour for an artist to come but overall it was fine. Don't know if I'd frequent here though. read more

never go here. the lady with the purple hair is a b****. she didnt like us the second we walked in and denied us a tattoo and also messed up my friend's piercing... on purpose. (i have a video of her bad mouthing us and her messing up and saying "oops my bad",) then she read us the waiver saying it "wasnt her fault". she never told us the precautions before the piercings... what a b***** ...just looking for money. never go here. read more

A girlfriend of mine referred me to this shop for a septum piercing. This can be a tricky piercing as they've got to find that sweet spot in your septum without nicking the cartilage. I worked with Courtney and she pierced my septum and flat of my ear. She was very kind and informative about the whole process. It was a great experience!! I only interacted with a few other artists in this shop but they were very laid back and respectful. They took me as a walk-in and I was taken care of immediately, not that I would have minded waiting. The studio is lovely and my piercings are healing beautifully. Came in with my sister to get her bellybutton and my philtrum pierced; we were both in and out within a half hour and haven't had any problems with our piercings. The girl who pierced us kept everything in her station super clean, she answered all my questions I had, sanitized everything in front of us. I wish I could remember her name for the recommendation, but I can't :/ Anyway, great shop and great piercing price! $20 a piercing, can't beat it. read more

I've been here on 3 occasions. Once to get my tongue, once for my tongue, and once for my friend to get his tongue and lip. The staff is so friendly and really educated you on the piercing and care and talks you through the process of piercing. They were very kind and understanding and made my day each time. On the note of the actual piercings they were perfect. They put them exactly where we wanted and neither of us had any issues with infection. I went in for permanent eyeliner & am really happy with the results so far. The place was sterile and professional looking & the price with the Groupon is the cheapest I've seen anywhere. Very pleased! About the eyeliner... I know you're going to ask, but No! It really didn't hurt. They numbed me up, so there wasn't pain, but it tickled terribly on the lash line. My eyes watered like crazy & after were a bit swollen and red, but it just looked like hay fever. 2 hours later the swelling was greatly reduced. I have been to this place for my belly button, rook, and tragus, although i have a few other piercings (and did not have nearly as good of experiences with them as i did going to Xtreme ink). This place is not only the most affordable with the lowest prices, ($20 a piercing) but they have always been so professional, friendly, and i can tell they're experienced. I just got my rook done by DJ, who was super nice and made sure i was comfortable the entire time (like asking if i wanted a countdown or for him to surprise me). I totally recommend this place for anyone in the Louisville/Indiana area! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! The artist "Sancho" is not only rude and disrespectful, but ruined my little sister's day. As we walked into Xtreme Ink and Piercing, we told Sancho that my little sister wanted her belly button pierced. She is 16, therefor she is a minor. Our Dad was present and has full guardianship over her. We told him that although my Dad has custody of her, she lives 3 doors up the road with my elderly grandparents in order to help them around. Sancho then interrupted my sister and told her that she was basically lying and that she wasn't aloud to get a piercing unless her legal guardian was present (which he was) My sister tried to explain once more that even though she did not reside with our dad, that he was in fact her legal guardian. He immediately rolled his eyes, put headphones on, marched to the back, and on his way he chuckled "Have a nice day." My sister left in tears because she felt incredibly belittled and unfairly treated. I guess being treated horribly is what you get when you move out of your house in order to care for your sick grandparents... Awful. read more
