NOTE: tat on left is the original, done FIVE weeks ago and healed like that. I wish I'd gotten one…read morewith my flash, but oh well-- you can see with natural light how great a job John did!!
Can I be generic and say the name lives up to my review?! We'll call me generic I guess, because after three visits to tattoo artists, this place SAVED ME. (Well, saved my arm from ugliness and subjection to ridicule, so I call it "saving me!"
John is the best artist EVER!!! I have to say, I've had plenty of tats over the years, and I've NEVER seen one draw freehand! It was a total relief, because I just don't think all tattoo "artists" are actually the latter.
Anyway, my pics should speak for themselves! I was really dumb and went out Dixie Highway for this pink tattoo, because I didn't think it could be screwed up. Welp... as you can see, they can be. And before you start thinking, "she saw what it was going to look like..." oh "no she didn't," as the coloring, body, and general outline were NOT the same as what he put on, and what he promised are far as coloring. But that's neither here nor there-- John has saved me from the ugliness that was, and now all I have to do is heal! I'll come back with pics, because as you can see: the original one had fading, A MY skin-TONED BODY, (what? A butterfly with a flesh colored body?) and actual dark ink seeping into the pink.
I tend to be long-winded, (SHOCKER, I know) but I'll just say there are many words, but also none that can describe how thankful I am to John. I'll come back periodically and show off the other work he's done as well, as we're gonna start getting me more "tatted up!"
****NOTE: I DID give John a little inspiration for my coverup, but for the most part, it's all HIS vision. I think I asked for like one tiny change, but that's it. Anyway, Merry Christmas to Five Star, and Merry Christmas to me, cuz "Santa done came early this year!!!"
