Turns out the contract we signed has a 3-day grace period in which can be cancelled without penalties. What's more is that Planet Fitness chose to honor our situation and refund us the difference! In conclusion, I find it appropriate to change my review from a 1-star to 4-stars. I short them a star for their General Manager being too lazy to know their contractual policy and standards. She chose the easy way out and in turned pissed some customers off. (I know who she is by name but intentionally left that out as this is a review on the business and not a witch hunt on lazy employees.) ***I left the original review to outline just how the situation was handled.*** Honestly, I have had a lot issues with Planet Fitness across the country. But at this particular establishment they had a "deal" that expired at the end of last month where you spend $10/month, $29 startup, with something like a $34 annual fee. My girlfriend and I are thinking we should try to get on that before this "exclusive deal expires"! So we spend just over $80 between the both of us. The VERY next day in October, they conveniently have a BRAND NEW deal that's $10/month, $5 startup, $34 annual. So I'm thinking I can just call the company and maybe they'll honor my situation seeing as it's pretty recent. Nope! I just get the usual apology bullshit and say I could even start a new contract that supersedes my current one to get more bang for my buck. Planet Fitness; you're telling me that you CANNOT honor a contract I made with you guys just over 48hrs ago but you can make a brand new one to nullify this one? What? That is some top-tier petty way to do business. I'll chalk this up to experience with a shitty company and workout elsewhere.

The level of care, passion and professionalism is unmatched. You don't need to be a gym human to feel like you belong. Members are just as friendly and helpful and you really feel like you deserve to take up space. (And you really do ) The space? Oh buddy! There's so dang much. From dumbbells, to barbells, to rowing machines, to cardio machines (of multiple types!); the options are endless and there's always more being added. The equipment is really well taken care of and there's never a time that I've been there that I feel like I'm being crowded or waiting on someone to get off equipment. There's so many options for machines that I am still learning more and more each session. Being female focused as a gym was really important for me when I was doing research. I have a cocktail of hormone issues, autoimmune and chronic illnesses so I needed somewhere that could help me figure out my body to work with me and not against me. And this, this is the place for that. I feel safe, supported, and really really strong. They host classes and I cannot wait to check those out! As a member they're included in my package and it's the coolest perk. Not a gym human but want to be? Hire one of their personal trainers! It's a literal GAME CHANGER. I think Anytime Fitness is the best fitness club in town. It has everything you'd ever want in a…read moregym and more. The machines are state of the art and even have individual tv's on them. There great free weights too. Classes are included in the membership and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have tanning, showers, child care, and a smoothie bar.
