We are new to the area and actually in the market to buy a boat. I thought what a perfect way to check out the waterway and give my dad a great day. Unfortunately upon checking in at the marina for my online booking, I was told our boat had no gas (fuel is included with rental fyi), something this marina does not have available for its patrons. I would think there are daily protocols to ensure all boats are ready for the next day of rentals. But alas, we were left without a pontoon. I was told by the lady that someone would be reaching out to correct and make it right, but it's been a week and nothing. I think they also could've brought another boat down from their other marina or gas to at least get us to a marina to fill up properly. (Literally a gas station a mile away) They told me maybe two hours to get some gas, but our day was already scheduled out due to flights and such. I don't appreciate poor service, especially when this could've been avoided entirely. I did receive a full refund, but that doesn't cover my dad's disappointment. And while I prefer to support locally, I think I need to explore other marinas.

Will, Maddy and Liz helped to make the experience feel very enjoyable. From the jokes to the words of encouragement, very glad we chose this place as our first zipline experience. The sites and the environment was beautiful especially in the sun. Liz, Will and Maddy definitely helped to make it a memorable time.

However, before you even start the course, there is a safety and how to tutorial on what to do and what not to do. Then after that you climb a 70 foot tower and begin your tour. I can tell you that if you're afraid of heights then this might not be for you because the first platform not only is high off the ground but the platform is very shaky and you may have 10 or 16 people all huddled together. You have to have nerves of steel. We chose to do the Bootleg Tour which is 5 zip lines and each one is unique in scenery, difficulty and experience. The guides do a wonderful job of making this the most enjoyable experience for you and we really appreciated that. Make sure that you listen to all of their instructions or you will be in a compromising position and fortunately we didn't experience that in our group. Overall, this zip line experience far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommended Canaan Zip Line for a date or family outing, or just to experience something new. The staff is wonderful, professional and friendly and the price of admission is worth it.

The employee who delivered the boat was helpful and answered all of our questions. Definitely icing on the cake to an already great week at the lake.

I recently rented a boat from your service at Lake Wylie, North Carolina. Here are the events that…read moreoccurred that negatively impacted our experience: Boat scheduled to arrive at 11am, it did not. I had to call to determine status. Boat eventually arrived at 1pm. The employee delivering the boat had me go with him on the boat to top off the fuel tank. Thinking it was normal, I had my 15 year old son come with me. Upon entering the boat, your employee was drinking a hard seltzer, maybe Mike's hard lemonade. He was kind enough to offer me and my 15 year old son a cocktail for the ride. We declined. After topping off the tank, the battery required jumping while still at the fuel dock. Your Employee advised it's okay, I'll give you a jump box and an extra battery. He explained that this boat gave the prior renters some issue but it was fine (perhaps it wasn't mechanically sound for rental). While taking an extended trip back to the rental home (most likely to charge the battery?), the boat died and we were stranded requiring a Tow vendor. During our time waiting for the tow service, your employee enjoyed several cocktails. In an attempt to provide exceptional customer service, we were given a "premium" pontoon for the remainder of our contract. The premium pontoon was not in fact premium, made a constant loud shuttering sound at idle and at no wake speeds. We eventually made it back to our rental at 4PM. We made the best of the trip and used the "premium" boat on Sunday. Needless to say, I am challenged to found a logical explanation why I was charged for 2 days of rental considering the circumstances. This was a short vacation to celebrate Father's day and my wife's Birthday and the events that occurred on Saturday were unfortunate but I only expected to pay for Sunday in light of the events. Please consider refund as the service provided was not as expected. Thank you

Even though a manager eventually jumped in to help, the line was still taking up to 30 minutes. We actually wanted to buy more drinks, but the wait just wasn't worth it. The frozen drinks are incredibly refreshing on a hot day, but the slow service definitely made them harder to enjoy. I am hoping this improves as this was one of the reasons to get a season pass.

They do have plenty of bar seating and benches inside and around the pool to sit down as well. They do not offer food so you will need to go outside the pool Bar area to purchase some food. They have everything from beers, seltzers, frozen cocktails, and canned wine. Definitely something fun to do on a summer weekend. After, you can always walk the theme park and enjoy some rides afterwards. Love it! They do offer cabanas as well and they offer food if you rent a cabana. This is located immediately to your right when you enter through the Waterpark entrance.

I'm thinking just after open, I'll breeze in and out. Not so fast, the place was already getting busy. When I parked I saw some high-end sports cars parked right in front, all backed in so the trunks were easy access to the sidewalk and just steps from the front door. That was the clue there were some experienced golfers on-site and there were. Several young men, it looked like a league and they had already ordered their cold beverages and were swinging away and getting festive. When it's December, cold and rainy, this is the place for the golfer who just has to get out and swing. I quickly got my gift card and boom I was out the door. My next thought was, my Son BETTER invite me to play when he uses the gift card!
