We took a cup to go (I know, very American of me). I ordered the Latte Macchiato with Oat Milk while my wife ordered a Moka (not realizing it is completely different than what she orders in America). I drank mine, and hers, and was very pleased with it. Jindrak has a large selection of baked goods. I was half heartedly checking things out when I saw a chocolate and strawberry pastry with a little vegan flag stuck in it. Excellent addition, from my perspective, so that I didn't have to inquire about the ingredients in everything. I took a pastry to go. Loved the texture and flavor of the dessert. Jindrak's service, vegan options and coffee all make it a worthwhile visit. The lack of vegan choices (only one during our visit) is the only thing holding it back from five stars.

(Although admittedly, those are pretty good too....no harm, no foul......they just aren't really what linzer tortes really are.) The pastries are all prepared fresh daily! They open at 8:30 so you can come by for a great breakfast of meat and bread/rolls or you can skip straight to a piece of Sacher or a cream Schnitte! Their prices are reasonable, especially considering it's location in a very popular part of old town Wels. The staff is friendly and more than willing to assist us with our broken German and their really good English so that's a huge plus! They are attached to the chill bar next door so if you need an early morning glass of wine with your cappuccino, you can get that here too!

There's indoor seating at two big tables, chairs set around a table, and bar seating. They offer coffee and tea as well as some baked goods, none of which I really fancied. I ordered regular coffee and it was strong, as is all that is offered in Austria I've realized. The employee working there was very friendly. The patrons were mostly young 20-30 year olds. While it's a very modern space, it fits into this seemingly historic pedestrian street.
