I used Kairos Home Improvement for partial renovations on 3 bathrooms and was very happy with the…read moreservice and outcome. They were quick to respond for an evaluation and an estimate. The workers showed up when they were supposed to, left the area clean , and took pride in their work. There were a few hiccups along the way but it was mostly due to issues with the supply chain, sourced from an outside company. Because of that I had several different teams on my project who didn't always communicate. However, any issues were immediately addressed and corrected. The client relations manager, Riveka, was excellent. She was on the site frequently to evaluate how things were going and make sure everything was perfect. She was also able to help with design input and arranged for a paint selection professional designer to do an on-site visit. The owner, Mynor, was also excellent. He came frequently before and after the job. He was able to come up with some work arounds to address any issues. I had already picked out everything before I hired them, as I was going to work with another contractor. Most of my issues were fabricator errors and related to an outside supplier. Unfortunately that caused many delays and Kairos worked with me. I am glad I choose Kairos. I thought their price was fair and was happy the owner wanted to make sure the job was well done.

The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. In every situation, he did high-quality work in a very timely fashion. He always arrived when he said he would, made sure that the times were convenient for us, and always left the work area clean and organized. Luis is friendly, honest, communicative, reliable, trustworthy, polite, and highly skilled. We highly recommend Luis and his crew, and we would hire him again without hesitation.

I am the skeptic of all skeptics, having had several years of bad experiences with other contractors. When I contacted Black Swann, I had an appointment for an estimation booked that same day. From start to finish, everything about my experience was handled professionally, quickly, and fairly. I had an upstairs shower that had been a nightmare from the first day we bought the house. Mr. Swann gave me a run-down of the process of how this would get fixed, an accurate timeline, and a good list of expectations. His crew was extremely professional, making all of the demolition and construction process occur without any clean-up on my end. They even made sure that no drywall dust got into my kitchen during their work, which was a big deal for me. All in all, I had an excellent experience. I would give them 6 stars, if it were possible.
