I recently spoke with a representative who informed me that switching my service would only add a $50 tax/fee. However, when I logged into my account after getting home, I discovered completely different charges: $28 to remove/discontinue the old service Additional fees that brought my total new bill to $174 This is significantly higher than the $130 monthly amount I agreed to. I feel I was given inaccurate information during our conversation, and these unexpected charges were never explained. Additionally, as a 77-year-old customer who has been with Xfinity for many years, I'm very disappointed that the bill keeps increasing every year and that there is still no senior discount available. Because of these ongoing issues and today's experience, I am seriously considering switching to Verizon. I would appreciate it if someone could review my account, explain these charges in detail, remove any incorrect fees, and honor the pricing I was originally quoted. read more

Quick background, my Samsung 20 Note Ultra went black on me Saturday morning. After repeated attempts to recover it, seeing via my Samsung watch, it was still working but no screen, I tried to find a Samsung repair facility, but to no avail. I was going to head up to the Mays Landing store, where I have done all of mu comcast business in the past, but my wife told me there was a new site in Somers Point, and they were open until 8PM. I went to the new store in Somers Point and was greeted immediately by Alex and Brian. Alex chose to take care of my business, and we proceeded to purchase a new Samsung 24 FE. Alex was very courteous and helpful and we went through the process. However, the manager, Gary, managed to totally screw things up to the point. Check out the whole story on the YELP for Somers Point Xfinity. Then I decided to go the Mays Landing site. When I arrived at that store, I noted it was 6 pm, and they close at 7 pm. The first person I ran into, I asked if they could get me into a new phone in under an hour, and that man said 'No problem" and directed my to Yani. She was very pleasant and courteous. She worked through the process to get me into the new phone with ease. I skipped any transfer since Yani explained to me I could do it myself via Google. After she was done, she succeeded in accomplishing the process in 35 minutes... (measuring from walking in the door to walking out). It was the opposite of Somers Point, and when I looked at the amount, it was the same pricing (24FE) as it was at Somers Point. I don't know what the "sale issue" was since nothing was different when it hit the credit card. I setup new service there. The location is was clean and large. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. The wait was long due to them only have a certain amount employees staffed. I gave 3 stars because when I paid my 25.00 setup fee, I was never asked if I wanted to enroll in automated payments or If I wanted my card number saved to my account. It was automatically done. I saw this once I logged in my account. I personally don't do automatic payments ever , and don't want my card info saved to any account with the way companies are being hacked these days. Stop taking peoples choices away so that you can get credit for enrolling people in automatic payments. read more

xfinity website and mobile app are horrible, nothing but problems/issues. It was easy to get xfinity mobile but took countless hours to transfer service to another provider. xfinity needs a better system and not gaslight customers. Went in to drop off equipment. I had already spoken with Comcast over the phone, made changes needed to our seasonal service. We had already spent over 39 minutes on the phone going over the choices. We were told to drop off our equipment at the store so the bill would stop. We walked in the door and gave our equipment to the reception desk , who scanned the bar codes and then given a number and told to sit down. She said we couldn't get a receipt from her even though she had the equipment. We would have to wait at least 30 mins or come back another time? We live out of town and leaving soon. Suffice it to say... it didn't end well, after waiting in an understaffed store with so many services to sell... everyone was angry. After awhile I went ballistic on the Assistant Manager (sorry, Deb) but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Suffice it to say. NOT A FAN!!! Ps. This is a review on the Xfinity Automated System I used to be an xfinity customer but their customer service automated system is the worst I have ever seen. Just to speak to an agent about an account it almost impossible. I literally have to google "how to speak to a live agent". It is very sad that such a great company like xfinity does not work on something so simple . They really need to have a look at their company internally and take the customers suggestions. We are living in an era that people will just simply "Google" everything and look at reviews before even trying any product. Poor service, In line yet 3 people that came in after me were called first. I think they make people that are disconnecting wait.....lol.

This was the WORST for CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one could understand English, not trying to bring out a "race card" but they couldn't. They also didn't want to listen and just kept telling me they understand. I then Asked for a supervisor and they refused. I spent an hr on the ph and literally hung up bc nothing got accomplished other than me getting frustrated. I called them 3 separate times and ALL 3x today were the same. They couldn't even say my first name which is a 1 syllable name and very easy to say. They couldn't spell my address which is a very simple address... again all one syllable st. Name. This review is only for this store and not the Xfinity system in general. What a pleasant change from the grimy back room operation they used to have down in the Pleasantville area. I actually thought I was in an inner city check cashing operation in the old store. Talking through an covered hole in one inch Plexiglas was a night mare. This store is worlds away from the old. Friendly and fast greetings and things efficiently handled. Very open and very clean. Just watch when you go it can get quite busy and backed up especially at lunch time. Best part of moving from NJ, i never have to deal with Comcast/Xfinity customer service again. It took me 45 minutes to return a modem... i was sent to two different lines and then had to wait for my name to be called... to hand someone a piece of equipment and a receipt someone gave me from another line... inefficient and not surprised by their lack of caring in proving customer service in the least. Your service however is the worst, You literally torture your customers by refusing them the opportunity to interact with a real person' You are also notorious for keeping customers on hold for hours. Surly you can do better. After being so frustrated that I could scream, I went to the Mays landing office to explain my situation to a REAL LIVE person. After 2 unsuccessful attempts I was assigned to Connie. What a breath of fresh air. She presented as someone who wanted to help and patiently listened to my tale of woe. She is knowledgeable, and explains things in detail more than once if necessary. She prints out the information so that i can refer to it if needed. I have used her on several occasions and emailed her with questions . She always responds promptly. It is soley because of her that I am again going to become a Comcast customer. I just had a very pleasant experience in our Xfinity store in Mays Landing. They are very quick there. Staff very nice. Felix waited on us and he was awesome. Xfinity is literally the worst cable / internet service provider ever. Where do I even start! It takes FOREVER and I mean FOREVER to speak to a customer service representative when calling the customer service line. It's an automated system that just takes you through loops and circles and next thing you know you find yourself literally yelling at your phone and your blood pressure has gone up just from that alone. Now, when you and if you do get to speak to a representative they act as if they understand what you're calling in about but trust me, whatever they're putting into the system never reflects the reason you called in! I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out to my home and do a full service installation and when the technician arrived, he told me that was not what he was booked for and very rudely expressed that he was booked for a different type of installation and not what me and the representative spoke about on the phone. It was a horrible experience! Called Xfinity and they were not empathetic nor tried to resolve the issue. I canceled my services with them that same day and went to AT&T instead. And I do not regret my decision. AT&T is way more efficient and not to mention, CHEAPER than Xfinity! I'm not even going to get started on Xfinity's billing! You will be paying more than what you signed up for. Xfinity knows better than to open a review option on their website or Google because their business will plummet! HOWEVER, that will not stop me! Wherever I can leave a review about this company, I will do so in hopes that I can help people avoid doing business with this HORRIBLE company! If i could put zero starts i would. Went to see if i could deactivate my mothers wifi and was basically told that she couldn't until the last resident that lived in her now home deactivated there account. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO THAT PERSON IS NOR WHERE THEY COULD BE. Point is they didn't handle it appropriately and most certainly didn't show any respect. After waiting over an hour, they sent me home with the wrong equipment!!! I scheduled a technician to come out fix the proble, as nothing is working right. I was shipped two new routers instead of one. I went to the store to return the old equipment as well as the duplicate router that was shipped to me. The store had a handful of customers and upon checking in I was told there would be a half hour wait because they now sell cell phones. If there is that type of wait to return equipment they obviously need to hire more staff. Then when called by Felix Ortiz, I was told that he was just an employee and couldn't explain the wait. He than scanned the original receipt that I was.given by the first rep printed out a receipt that needed to be signed. This process is ridiculous. There is no reason why the greater couldn't PRINT out the receipt and get a signature! This process needs to be streamlined. read more

The place looked like a Verizon store that had been turned into a homeless shelter. There were at least 13 customer service stations, but only 4 of them were in use. There were employees to man a couple others, but they were busy with things that didn't involve assisting customers. Meanwhile, there were over 15 people waiting for service. There was no where to sit and some customers were laying on the benches that were provided. One was asleep. Like I said, it looked like the place had been turned into a homeless shelter. Or maybe a busy bus station around midnight. When I located the manager, she was on a ladder, hanging a banner. I had previously been told that she was in the back, participating in a training session. I asked to speak with her and was told to sign in and wait my turn for service. I pressed the issue and was blown off again. Finally, I asked why the place looked like a homeless shelter. That got her attention. However, it didn't result in more than her excusing herself from helping customers, because apparently that isn't her job. She also congratulated me for being so observant and told me to wait my turn. I noticed they have a lovely retail section, toward the back of the store. Nice earbuds, headphones, chargers, stereo speakers, and etc... all hanging from hangers, or sitting on shelves. I decided to quietly rearrange all of these. turn things around on their hanger, hide things on different shelves, behind other products, etc... I moved some things to other display areas, and I made designs out of some of them. The manager ordered me to leave the store. I refused. She informed me the police were coming, which I thought was funny. She said I'd "defaced property", which I thought was even funnier. I waited my turn, and the police showed up as the representative was about to go get my equipment - I didn't get the idea that the employees had any respect for Brooke, the store manager (or as I had started calling her, Pumpkin Spice {she talked like she should have been played by every Wayans brother - "Oh. My. God. LOOK at what you did to our PROPERTY!!!"}). Naturally, they'd heard her story and thought I had made a huge scene, had been throwing product around the store, stomping on merchandise, and etc... I pointed out that the scene tells a whole different story, and I invited them to watch the CCTV footage and arrest me if I had done something illegal. In the end, Pumpkin Spice got a lecture about what is defacing property and what isn't. Comcast corporate is investigating the actions of Pumpkin Spice. read more

By far the worst customer service ever! I went into the store to return a duplicate shipment of a new router and to return my old router. I went up to the greeter, he scanned both pieces of equipment and told me it would be a 1/2 hour wait to speak to a customer service rep. The store was empty! When I asked why such a long wait, he told me they now sell cell phones and the process was a long process. So I then proceeded to ask him why did I have to speak to a Customer Service Rep and he told me that they needed to confirm the return. I waited 25 minutes and was called by Felix Ortiz. He asked me for the piece of paper with the scanned numbers of the equipment I returned and he printed out a return receipt for me to sign and told me I was finished. I asked him why couldn't the greeter print out the receipt and he abruptly told me "he was just an employee". I mentioned that I was going to write a review and he offered me his card. Obviously, this store needs to train their employees better and to streamline their return process. For the monthly subscription fees Comcast charges, their customer service in their stores leaves much to be desired! read more
