Wow! tanning has gotten incredibly expensive. I walked in thinking I could buy a package for 35 or 40 or maybe even $50. I just need to build a base tan. I understand that this isn't 15 or 20 years ago and we aren't going to get a 25 or $30 tanning package however it blew my mind when one of those lower cost options was still over $100 lotion is now up to $70 and I'm actually mind blown the tanning salons still exist in this economy. I can't imagine that many people are coming here enough to keep a business open. It doesn't make any sense to me. Livonia is not the demographic to have an extra couple hundred dollars each month for tanning.?! what about in the summertime when everyone is outside anyway? The lady was semi nice kind of stern seemed increasingly annoyed that I wasn't going to drop a few hundred dollars. I told her I wanted a single session or maybe a package but they don't have anything less than 10 visits. I thought I could buy maybe five visits or something, but they don't have that option. The beds all seemed very high-quality and everything was very clean unfortunately even though I make well above minimum wage, I don't think this is even anywhere near "in my budget" i'm flabbergasted and wondering what people do for work that they are able to afford such a thing like this ‍ also know that TJ Maxx is closed I feel like they would get so much less foot traffic they also had multiple people working which I can't fathom that they can warrant that I would give a 3.5 if I could I may be back next winter earlier in the season. It's almost spring time now so I can't justify paying for a few months at a time or a package. When I don't know how many sessions I would use. She also informed me that I would have to come multiple times a week to see a noticeable difference she said really the only good way to do it is if you buy the monthly package which is incredibly expensive. I'm so shocked that so many people are still doing this in this economy. read more

Have been here several times over the years. Always liked it until today. I was told the last time I was there I used lotion, (which I did not) and how that can damage the beds. Even when I said I did not use lotion she continued to lecture me about how it harms the beds and they can crack and I will be charged $2000 if they do crack. I absolutely did not use any lotion, and will not tan there again because I had no way of proving I didn't and was being accused. This happened in front of other customers. I left and said I would not be back. Sad because I liked it there. read more

I've been tanning here for over 10yrs, I will NEVER tan anywhere else! They are CLEAN and stay on top of changing out bulbs, and very friendly staff! I love this tanning salon!!! read more

Clean, amazing beds, friendly staff. Never a wait so always in and out. I usually use a lay down and one of the higher model beds, gives me a nice sun kissed look read more

I found this place on a fluke because I was driving by and wanted to do a little tanning. I now drive 15 minutes to get there because it's the best tanning place that I've been to. The staff is always kind and accommodating and, more importantly, it is always very very clean. read more

The only place I am comfortable tanning. It is spotless. The staff is very informative and friendly. I use the stand up and seldom have to wait. I highly recommend them. read more

Today was my first day tanning at this salon. I got an amazing deal for $90.00 to tan the rest of 2014 in an iTan bed. Brian made me feel welcome. So did Jeff. I was shown the beds, how they operated and had a great staff experience. I managed 5 salons in California. And they did a great job! It was a very relaxing experience. I think I found my bed away from home!! :) read more

Xclusive Tan - Tanning Near Me - Livonia, Michigan

The staff is friendly and professional. Clean business. Affordable prices and they practice safe social distancing I highly recommend this business read more

Xclusive Tan is my favorite!!! I happened to come across Xclusive while in the area with some extra time and a need for some spray tan action. Usually, I'm put off by business names that aren't spelled right, but I gave it a shot anyway. Thank god. These guys are fabulous. They will walk you through any process so that youre comfortable and confident you'll look great when you walk out. They're friendly, knowledgable, and always in good spirits. Never a wait, either, kudos, boys. Now on to the tan. I only do the spray tans which are perfection. I've had bad experiences that have turned me off of them, but Xclusive welcomed me right back and showed me how its done. Its flawless and the color is awesome. You even have th option to add a cosmetic element so you get some glow right away. Get it - its good. As for the other tanning beds, I'd imagine they're quite good too. I worked in a tanning salon for 5 years so I know the ins and outs of the best of 'em -- they're doing their job. Everything is super clean, organized, and up to date. I live 20 minutes away from Xclusive and make the drive as much as I can -- they're that good. read more

The staff that works here is very knowledgeable and very friendly. It's pretty convenient that it's right by TJ Maxx so if I have to wait for a bed I just pop in there and do a little shopping! I think the longest I've ever waited it was 10-12 minutes ayway. They helped me choose the right package for the outcome I was looking for because it had been a couple years since I'd been tanning so things had changed. After a few weeks I was a nice natural golden brown. I don't tan often but should the need arise again in the future I would definitely come back here! The only thing I don't like about this place is the parking lot. There are so many driveways and sections of parking, it's always so busy & the location of the store isn't really super close to any parking spots. read more

Back where I'm from in Sterling Heights there are a ton of tanning salons around, so moving out to Livonia, I was looking for one that gave great results. This place is one of the few tanning salons in the area and the top rated for a reason. Beds are clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and you can get a great tan. It is more pricy than some of the places I'm used to, but when a place hits all my wishes you really can't go wrong. They also have specials each month so that helps to save some money. I'm definitely going to keep coming back. read more

Since moving from Macomb I have struggled finding a clean tanning facility that's not ran by a bunch of teenagers who show no interest in their job. I was very relieved to find this place last minute before a wedding and vacation. I wish I got his name but the man working at the front was so helpful. I used to tan a lot when I was younger but it's been awhile and he was so good at explaining the levels and the bed settings. I only bought a week package for my events but I will for sure be back after to purchase a month or two. What a great experience! read more

I have been coming to this tanning salon for about 3-4 years now and I would never go to any other. Troy and Terry are absolutely outstanding and have very extensive knowledge about both the lotions and the different types of tanning beds available in their salon. They have many options available such as single visits, month packages and year long VIP packages. It is always extremely clean inside and the beds are very well maintained. Lotions are always affordable no matter what price point you are looking for. The employees make me feel welcomed each visit and remember the names of all of their repeat customers. I have and will continue to recommend this tanning salon to anybody looking for a clean, well maintained and friendly atmosphere. read more

Very clean facility and reasonable prices. They do a nice job of keeping bulbs in working order rather than using them until they burn out, which is how some tanning salons cut corners. Ownership and staff are patient and treat you well. They have some rules on lotions, since certain oils can damage the expensive beds, but they let you know that up front. read more

This place was wonderful. I went in for the first time this morning for a mystic tan (which I've never had before). The man behind the counter was very friendly and helped me choose a color that was best for me. The results are amazing and I will definitely be back again. read more

Great place! Friendly staff, super clean and lots of beds, so waiting isn't an issue.

I've been tanning off and on for years. Xclusive is always extremely clean, keeps up on their bulbs and are over the top FRIENDLY! I love the fact they they have incredible sales and will always offer advice for whatever you're looking for. They will explain everything in depth and never leave you feeling like you're taking up their time texting or talking to friends (which I have had numerous problems with at many other salons). I won't go anywhere else!! I've also had memberships at just about every other tanning place in Livonia. read more

I have had many spray tans before and nothing compares to this place! I swear I won't go anywhere else. They're beds are awesome too and such a friendly staff, they are always so kind and helpful. read more
