I've been a customer for 7 years, since it's been SweetLeaf and I've been buying and using concentrates longer still. I've enjoyed their products and excellent prices and the employees I've met have been top notch. Recently, I purchased the Guava Runtz flavor of their $10 wax. While inexpensive, they pack bang for the buck and I've always been more than pleased. However, this strain tasted like I was inhaling straight gasoline. It was disgusting and I was very surprised as it hadn't ever happened before. I cleaned my rig, tried a different strain (which tasted fine) and then back to the Runt-same nasty, gasoline, turpentine taste. Well shit, you win some, you lose some I ended up throwing that stuff away. Today I made the mistake of buying the Guava Runtz strain (2) again. I recognized the taste instantly one I smoked it. I immediately brought the 2 (open) containers back to Xclusive explaining the taste issue with receipt. They said they didn't refund based on "taste". I mean, I get it... bought grape, tastes like ass- too bad, not their problem. In my case, I believe they're literally selling a subpar batch/strain and they don't care. THIS is what I'm very disappointed in. Ultimately to me, it's convenience and $20, but now I can't trust anything I purchase from this company as they don't stand behind their product. I came into the dispensary asking the person who was helping me for a "Pax Era Pod". He pointed me to a rectangular box that looked like it would be a pax product, and it was the same price so I figured the worker inside the dispensary knew what he was talking about. It was in fact not a pax pod after opening the pod in the parking lot. I went straight back in to let them know the mistake. They told me they don't even carry pax products and that they have no return policy once it leaves the store. I'm not sure why the workers aren't trained to know everything about dispensaries but it's embarrassing and if I was having a bad day it could have been a worse situation. COVID has def made it difficult to see and smell the flower so relying on their "expert opinion" is a shot in the dark. Been coming here for the last year , today changed it all my bud tender didn't even know how many grams where in a ounce , I wanted 3/4 of one once and 1/4 of another strain which would equal up to one full ounce. The price for a full ounce should have been $200 out the door. She was trying to charge me 253 for 1 ounce . Update: the service here is just bad. They started doing call ahead "so you don't have to wait". But I called in today and after 20 min on hold and getting disconnected twice before I got to talk to a person I made my simple order. I arrive and say I have a call ahead. Okay, so first off I have to say that the prices at this place are really good, depending on what you're getting. I don't smoke flower, at least not often, and from what I can tell their flower is pretty middle of the road. I see people on here and elsewhere complaining about the shake ounces, but honestly, you don't really have a right to complain if you're buying shake. Complaining about shake is like complaining about Keystone Lite not having enough flavor. So, I buy a lot of live resin here, their prices are super reasonable and most of the staff is pretty knowledgeable and helpful. I was actually told to go to Xclusive by a bud tender at Lightshade because I would save around 35% off of their prices. So Xclusive is well priced and the staff are mostly awesomWhile one or two of the guys there might sample a bit too much of the product, the prices make it worth the occasional slip up. Neither my husband or I have ever had an issue with any of the female employees. Noah specifically is one of the most amazing people I've ever worked with at a dispensary, she always makes the trip in worth it!
