Apparently I misspoke when going to buy some wax. I mentioned that is was for my son's vape and I didn't know anything about the type of wax and didn't want to ruin his vape. We were going to get together and thought it would be nice to smoke something with him that he usually smokes besides weed. The gal said that since I mentioned that I was buying for someone else she refused to sell me anything. I tried re-explaining what I was trying to say and that I'm on the spectrum so my communication is an issue then tried to reexplain what I meant. She didn't care and said she wouldn't sell anything to me anymore because I was buying for someone else, when that was not the case at all.. This is ludicrous. No reason to go to another dispensary. One of the only fully integrated seed to sale companies. Can't beat the quality and value.

I went in looking for CBD to help me sleep and the bud tender recommended some gummies. They had a promotion so I bought 3 packs. Unfortunately I didn't want THC and when the bud tender rattled off stats, I just assumed it was CBD related and I trusted the bud tender to give me what I asked for. Discovered there was THC by waking up groggy the next morning as I do with THC edibles and why I don't use them. They couldn't return them due to state law which a customer had to explain because the manager was unable to express himself clearly. Ultimately they gave me store credit so that is why they still get three stars. read more

I recently purchased a joint on the joint Tuesday deal. Me and a friend broke the joint open. We both agreed, this was not Blue Dream as we were told. The service here is great and the staff are very knowledgeable, and friendly, but that seems to depend on what time of the day you go for the more up beat employees. Its very clean and dimly lit, the flow is really great, if you love sativa then you won't be disappointed in the selection. Whitney is one of my favorite employees and is very honest and insightful about the questions you ask her. The flower is really good here, I tried pootytang for the first time here and it was a great high, but it made me jumpy. They do seem to cut the plant while its still wet, and they don't clean the flower, but nothing to do with the quality. I also like that not many of the tourists come to the aurora area, so the line is never super long. read more

Today was probably the very first time I was ever disappointed by this dispensery. One of the supervisors (the big one with a beard) helped me today and really made me feel like I was an inconvenience and made me feel really bad. I went in at 8 am and at this place they say come in at happy hour and get an 1/8th weighed in at 4 gs....well they also have a poster right up on the wall that says SUPERSIZE your 1/8 for 5.00 AND get your 1/8th at 4gs...plus a house joint, glass, lighter. Well I uncomfortably ordered an 1/8th and asked him to super size it...he said "Well I'm already weighing your 1/8th out at 4 grams." I was like so I can't get the deal? No answer.... but the 1/8th was jared and ready and I wanted more than the 1/8 and since he wasn't going to give me the advertised SUPERSIZED deal that was on the wall I ordered another 1/8th. He then proceeded to weight out my second 1/8th but then grabbed the previous one and took a gram out of it ,sat them down, labeled them and cashed me out . This WAS one of my favorite spots but after being treated like this I think I will stick to the DU store bc Cade is the man and all the tenders there never make you feel uncomfortable or ripped off. Again Why advertise a deal if your NOT going to honor it?! And if your NOT you really should take that giant tempting poster down! read more

I've shopped here for over two-years. Most often I purchase eight eighths and it averages me $120-145. I attempted to purchase my norm on 08/29/19. Not only was the service exceptionally slow, but the cashier seemed not to know how to ring this in. So, she asked for help. The total came out to $190. This is impossible because eight eighths of top self is $200. With a medical card it's about $180. So why would I pay $10 more then top-self with a med card if only 3 of my eighths were top self, the rest lower self, and one just shake. I declined and the attendant started to stop me from walking off as if he knew it was too much, then say I'm sorry. I walked out with no intention of ever coming back to the shop that I've enjoyed for over two years since moving to Colorado. I just can't wast my time and gas on a dispensary that can't keep things together and has new employees every 3 months. So I'm in town for a few days and wants to check out a couple dispensaries. This place was pretty small compared to the other ones I've been to. I didn't think the woman who took care of me was very interested or very knowledgeable. They have some good daily deals and their prices are pretty decent. It was funny because as I was telling my budtender over at Good Chemistry about this woman she told me that she used to work there but was fired because she told her boss he was being rude. Boy did they mess up because the girl from GC gave me detailed information on every thing that I asked about, didn't rush me even when we had a million questions about edibles. I liked her so much I went back later that day to buy a rig. Starbuds definitely traded down as far as customer service goes. For the money it's so so. I found seeds in there purple mountain bud @150 Oz. And they didn't bother taking out the stems when they weighed it out kinda makes u feel ripped off.
