My first visit consisted of…read moreJason watching me carefully making sure my technique was good and then he would manipulate my lower back. This was repeated 2 times as I was suffering from pain in my hip. pain in my right hip. He had me do 20 repetitions holding each stretch for 5 seconds. However, my next 3 visits were exactly the same, no new stretches were added, no new stretches or strengthening exercises were suggested for me to do at home. The last 2 sessions were conducted by his assistance. The first session with the assistance began with him advising me to do the same stretch that Jason had me do. As I was doing the stretch I noticed the assistant was sitting with his back to me texting on his phone. (Jason had left for the day). After 8 stretches he stood up saying that's good and he manipulated my back. He then advised me to stretch again this time I did just 2 stretches to see if he was watching and again he put his phone down stating that's good and he manipulated my back and then said that's enough for today. I returned one last time and again the assistance was assigned to me. Jason was working on a client near me and the assistant never picked up his phone. Again, I felt a lot better after my first session, slightly better after my 2nd session, but I got 0 benefit after my 3rd and 4th session. Disappointed because the website stated they individualize a plan to fit your needs including stretches and strength building exercises for you to do at home.

Called the business three times to schedule an appointment for physical therapy. The first time the…read morereceptionist told me she couldn't help me because she had patients in front of her and hung up on me. The next two times no one answered and i left voicemails with my name number and why i was calling, and never heard back from them. I can not speak to quality of care but i would not recommend this business if this is how they treat their patients before they even see them.

I have been to other activator method chiropractors who are learning the method, and they have moved on to locations that I could not use. My previous Chiropractor had told me that not all preferred proficiency chiropractors are on the Activator Methods website because after they have done the classes so many times, it is redundant to them. So it was hard to find one near me. I did with Dr. Steve. He does not do things exactly as my previous one, but he hits the spot 9/10 times. Then it is up to us to keep the adjustment by not repeating when caused it to go out of place in the first place and to do the exercises he suggests to strengthen the weak spots. The office is very pleasant! I highly recommend this office. He does do testing that others don't. There are pros and cons to that, but for the first time in my life I actually got to see the scoliosis that I knew I had all my life that other chiropractors had dealt with to keep me healthy, but I never had physically seen the curve itself. highly recommend!

They were each helpful in teaching me exercises to strengthen my core. What I was so grateful about the experience is I was told not only what to do, but why. Also how I should be breathing while doing the exercises. I was also taught what to avoid. I have played racquetball for over 50 years and thought I would need to give it up. Amanda encouraged me to not give it up and I am playing again. Yes being more careful but still in the game. I did not want to live my life on the sidelines and I have learned so much. Yes things are different, but I'm still living an active life. While all the therapists have been helpful and caring, Mary is the best. She has made a huge difference for me. Thank you Mary. The…read moredoctor himself was nice and he adjusted my back well, he went over treatment options with me but pushed for me to try placenta injections. I did not end up doing the placenta injections as I could not find a lot of research on this topic when I went looking. I think it might just be too new of a procedure. Sounds like it could really work but I was just not willing to spend all that $ as my insurance would not cover the injections. The office gives you a lot of info and things to read up on but my issue was I couldn't find much myself when I was googling (again this is a newer treatment) this just isn't the time for me to spend extra $ as I have other health issues that take up a lot of our HSA insurance/money. But this is something I would be interested in doing as time goes on hopefully insurance will cover at least some of this.

When you do actually get to see him he takes the time to listen to what you have to say. He is a really great family physician and has helped us through a few tough times with serious medical issues. Be an advocate for your health and find a physician who will listen! :)

My one child had test done and it was 3 weeks before we recieved the results and only after repeated calls asking for them. We assume it is because we have Wellcare (Healthy Start state insurance). The seem to treat anyone with this insurance as second rate clients. I assume they dont realize that there are people on this insurance that are NOT welfare recipients . Why do they take the insurance if they are going to be so obviously judgemental.
