I really wanted to love this salon because it's absolutely beautiful, modern, and very clean. A patient and a client of mine had told me about this place a few years ago and I had decided to give them a try on Friday 07/10/2026 . The atmosphere gives a luxury feel, which is why I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the premium prices. My appointment started with my manicure. My nail technician, Jack, never introduced himself or made me feel welcome. Throughout my appointment, he seemed more interested in his phone and interacting with his coworkers . The experience felt impersonal from the start. Afterward, I went for my pedicure. The pedicure technician Steven asked which pedicure service I wanted, and got started. I was never offered a complimentary beverage or informed that drinks were included with the service. What stood out to me the most was watching another customer sitting next to me receive a completely different experience. Her pedicure technician warmly greeted her, handed her the menu book, and offered her complimentary beverages. I was never offered a drink or told refreshments were available. I've been to a few salons in New York City (Manhattan) that charged even more than this one in Long Island (Bayshore), but the customer service was exceptional. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcomed and appreciated, and you understand exactly why you're paying those prices. If you're going to charge luxury prices here on Long Island, the service should reflect that. Luxury pricing should come with a luxury experience! The salon itself is beautiful, and the cleanliness is definitely a plus. However, professionalism, attentiveness, consistency, and making every client feel equally valued are just as important as the quality of the nails. The work itself was okay (I had Better), but it wasn't enough to justify the price or make up for the lack of customer service. This place is not great at all. It's a money making machine with a revolving door. Not personable at all. Paying $20 for a manicure where there was zero, moisturize or oil used, no cuticle push back, just machine leaving my real nail raw and sensitive followed by polish. They are not knowledge on actually taking care of your real nail, no one knew what a nail harder was so there's no nail treatment for my raw sensitive nail after the machine removed layers of my real nail. They speak among themselves and not to you, you are almost invisible, unless they are selling you drinks to take more of your money. I won't recommend or return here. read more

The salon is beautiful and certainly creates a very polished, upscale first impression. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not live up to the setting or the price point. The quality of the nail service was just average in my experience, and I've had noticeably better results at other salons for considerably less. What was even more disappointing was the lack of warmth and personable customer service. The interactions felt very impersonal, and when I asked questions, there were several moments of awkward silence before receiving a response. It made the overall experience feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming. I have no issue paying more for exceptional service, but the quality, customer care, and overall experience need to justify the price. In this case, I simply didn't feel the value was there. Excellent experience. Ivan was super sweet and accommodating. I sat with Bella for a special gel pedicure and got the royal treatment. They have phone chargers on the massage chairs and offered me a cocktail. Bella did a good job scrubbing my feet, taking care of my cuticles and painted perfectly. Definitely will ask for her again. Not sure why the bad reviews but the place is clean and gorgeous and you get what you pay for so spring for the works. I'm a very picky girl when it comes to my nails and they're amazing. read more

Tried this nail spot for a mani/pedi for the first time & they didn't disappoint! I got a gel acrylic manicure & a spa pedicure for a birthday event in Florida I was flying out for & I loved the service & my experience! Jack was my manicurist & he did a fantastic job! Jennifer was my pedicurist & gave the best foot massage I've had in a long time. I already made another appointment for a fill-in for my nails & Mya was also very good with nails as my cousin had her for her nails & was ecstatic with the chrome gel outcome look. read more

This place is amazing! From the moment you enter and are greeted by Maria who is the manager until you are seated the vibe is just nice. The staff is really friendly & professional. The wait time is not too bad even if you come in without an appointment. The establishment is very clean and the service is superb. It's actually quite zen considering its a salon; its not noisy at all. They offer you something to drink while you're being serviced which is a A+ for me as I feel very pampered. read more

Came here on my birthday yesterday for a pedicure. Got to the point of callous removal on my heels and my technician (not sure of his name) ripped a chunk of my foot out. He aggressively used the heel shaver to the point where I was bleeding all over, I have never seen someone use that kind of power and it was so painful. A day later, I'm still in pain and can't put pressure on that foot. He snickered with a coworker while bringing back my bandaid (one of 5 I bled through). Will never recommend anyone here. I never usually get any of the special spa packages when I get a pedicure. This time, I had the organic spa pedicure with U.V.gel with callus removal. Today i decided to treat myself only to get a very subpar experience. What's worse is that I'm watching in real time what my service is supposed to look like right next to me! The tech is talking to and listening to the preferences of the customer. Same package, but unfortunately not the same service or experience. If I play it back, he didn't even use all of the metal tools in the pedicure set. Everything I said he started addressing and then would just move on to the next feature of the package without making the changes. What was supposed to be relaxing just wasn't. Will I return, probably not. If I'm paying that much for a "spa" experience. I still gave a tip. This was more towards the cleanliness, aesthetics and the convenience of a walk in just in case tips are split amongst the overall establishment. All in all, I was surprised because I have come in the past as well as heard many great recommendations. This time was an utter underwhelming flop. read more

Terrible. I asked for white polish, there was obviously barely any in the bottle. There was so little that she was putting acetone in the bottle. Both of my big toes were so clumpy you could visibly see it. I asked for a new bottle of polish and she told me multiple times there was no more regular white polish in the whole salon. She then called her friend over which she also told me there was no more. I then had to get the manager over which they then got a new polish. They were rudely talking in their language, laughing. While she was putting the fake flip flops on me she then ruined my nail. I did not want her to redo it. She then charged us the full amount. I will not be coming back here. You can have new marble walls and wine but know how to do the point of the business. read more

Went to get a basic pedicure and manicure without polish and got to checkout and it was $80. When I called next day to ask how much it would cost they said $55 and I I. Return say why was I charge $80 yesterday. Excuse was because nails were buffed!!????!!! That cost an extra $25 plus the manicure and polish it got yesterday is already peeling. Don't waste your time straying from your normal spot. They don't honor your appointment if its your first time, I was told that first appointments are considered walk ins regardless of appointment. I have a great nail person at another salon, but wanted to give X Nails a chance and was met with unprofessional practices. read more

Terrible! Now I know why it wasn't crowded. Technician was inexperience. She made my toe bleed. I told her she hurt me, and she laughed. I paid $68 for a spa pedicure, and no massage! She hurried through so she could go and chat with her employee friend. No massage at the dryer either. I do not recommend this place. read more

Worst nails I ever got. Cheap brand of dip powder and 2 cracked the day I got them done. I went back same day to have them fix and they're closed at 4pm on a weekday. 4 more cracked the next day and all they did when I went back was file off a layer and add a layer which is essentially nothing. Not worth it even with the discount they were offering for their grand opening. I ended up paying twice when I had to go to my regular nail salon to get them done correctly.
