I have been here twice and I am so disappointed. The first time I called and made an appointment with a girl that my friend had when she her nails done. When I arrived they sat me down in front of this little Asian woman who couldn't speak a lick of English... This was not the woman I had an appointment with.
I was getting a new set of acrylics, Which typically takes maybe a little over an hour... It took her an hour just to put a thin, clumpy, messy layer of acrylic on ONE HAND. I only had 2 hours to get my nails done before work, and with an hour left I knew I was screwed. I tried multiple times to ask her to put another layer on, as I was afraid of breaking them off with simple everyday tasks, I also tried informing her what time I had work, with no prevail. She couldn't understand me at all. I didn't want to be rude, so I tried getting the other girl's attention that was sitting next to her but she was ignoring me.
By this time I had both hands ''done'' and I was late for work. The acrylic job was so horrible I could have done it myself at home, and I CAN'T do nails. Not only was it thin, it was also uneven, lumpy, and everywhere. She got Acrylic on my cuticles and on the sides of my fingers. It had dried and when she was trying to file and ''shape'' them, she decided to try to file it off my cuticles. This was this painful, shouldn't have ever happened, and she also cut me with the edge of the file.
I called for a manager which happened to be the same girl sitting next to her, the one who I was trying to get her attention in the very beginning... and explained to her everything that had happened, She seemed not to care at all and told me that it was normal for a new set to take 2 hours, not even acknowledging that my nails looked atrocious and they were far from being done.
I told her I was extremely Unhappy and I wanted someone else to fix them, but she instead tried to tell the woman what I wanted. SO... I came to terms with not making it to work for possibly another 2 hours and let the woman attempt to make my acrylic thicker, Which took another 45 minutes. They looked just as bad as the first time she thought she was done.
Already annoyed with the manager, I called her over again and suggested she fix them. I switched chairs, she sat me down and it took her another 45 minutes just to file and shape them so that they were straight and the tops were smooth. I picked a gel polish color so I wouldn't have to wait any additional time, I was already an hour and a half late for work and i didn't have any more time to waste. all said and done. my nails still looked mediocre at best and I just wanted to get out of there. By the time i was finished I was there a little over 4 hours and very upset.
SHE STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE and never apologized...
and insisted that I give them a second chance by making an appointment with her, and in return she would give me half off my next visit... I was pretty irritated, but naturally being a push-over, I booked my appointment for 2 weeks. I'm still baffled that she never apologized.
When I went back 2 weeks later, she was nice, she did an ok job, but she still took way too long just to do a fill on my nails. I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes and once again and I got gel again, so no drying time for polish, no design, nothing that should take that long. I've had much better else where and will not be returning or recommending anyone to go here. I have shared my experience with friends and the majority of them also had complaints and said they're not worth it and are overpriced. read more
