I wanted to go from a dirty blonde (my natural color) to a more platinum color and Ashley came up with a plan for my hair. Since the ends of my hair had been color treated before, she decided to do color and then lighter highlights. She did a good job in a short period of time while simultaneously attending to a pedicure while my hair color processed. Ashley did an excellent job cutting my hair and my eyebrows look amazing. Unfortunately the color didn't follow our plan. My "virgin" hair, the natural roots, didn't take the color and lightener like the rest of the hair, leaving my hair with brassy, yellow-gold roots. When I voiced my displeasure, Ashley immediately offered to add more highlights. I knew she had another client waiting so I agreed to go home and let my dogs out and return in 45 minutes. I'm returning shortly and am pleased with the service. There was no way Ashley or I could have predicted my hair would behave in this fashion. She handled the adverse color reaction with professionalism and maturity and I intend to continue to visit University Stylists in general and Ashley in particular.

The cashier acknowledged it immediately, but then proceeded to tell my wife that there was nothing she could do about it until tomorrow. Now we are expected to wait an entire day to get 20$ back that you acknowledge you incorrectly took from my wife? The manager told us there was "nothing she could do." because she was too lazy to take the time to count the drawer and correct the salon's mistake. Now we're expected to sit and wait around for them to give us a call so we can take the 45 minute drive from Brookville to Indiana in our V8 SUV over a 20$ bill that the salon stole. Go elsewhere if you don't want bothered with petty unprofessionalism and having to spend an hour on the phone with corporate to get a 20$ refund.

Nothing blends together it just looks like someone used hedge trimmers on it. My 3rd appointment was w/ Kayla, and it was perfect. The stylists that work there have always been friendly.
