I had a terrible experience with the last salon that I was going to for about a year, and since I have started going to Olivia at Sage, I no longer dread getting my hair done! I wish I could see her every day, she's so uplifting and does a fabulous job. I truly think she is a blonde genius. And if you're looking for extensions, this salon offers tape-ins that are so comfortable and feel just like my natural hair. They look beautiful. Olivia took her time to make sure that I was happy with the color match before ordering them, and she is so patient with explaining how to maintain them and take care of my hair. Well, it didn't. This partial weave cost me $180 I'll never go back there.

The hair dressers don't have their own stations, which was strange to me. I'm used to places that feel more like you're at home. Even though Maven was a relaxing experience, it still just felt really uptight, if that makes sense. I may try it again in the future, but I feel like it might just be a one time experience for me.

I'm not sure what happened, but I think my stylist, Carrie, may have been overbooked for the day. My appointment started almost 30 mins late, then felt very rushed the whole time. The end result is that my new bob is what I would consider a botched cut. One side is longer than the other, there are random chunks too long, the back is uneven, one side looks like an asymmetrical cut even though I specifically asked that it not be asymmetrical... You get the drift. When my hair is curled it's not too obvious, but when I straightened my hair today it looks terrible. Sadly, I will have to pay for a cut somewhere else to have this fixed.
