This was quite a lovely pub, but then again being located on the Great Ocean Road it is sort of something that I have come to expect. Yeah, it is actually a pretty cool place to stop off at on a drive, though it is also pretty touristy, though I'd suspect that the touristy aspect comes from the regulars that come down here on the holidays. However, I did find that the service was great, and the selection of beers pretty good as well. Oh, and they have an awesome balcony with some great views. Definitely a pub to check out. read more

We landed here after breakfast in Geelong. Wasn't sure any meal would compare to our FANTASTIC MEAL at Freckleducks. BUT What a surprise! We started with the soup of the day, spicy lentil/garbanzo/lamb. Delicious! then my partner ordered the fish of the day, and I had Thai duck. WOW! Highly recommend the food. Atmosphere was casual and comfortable and the staff was friendly and a bit chatty! Make sure to stop here ! read more

I had the seafood bisque and my boyfriend had a pasta dish. Both were good but not great. My seafood bisque had great seafood but the bisque itself was quite lacking. Needed more spice or zing. Made me wish I had ordered the fish and chips. The bar's beer selection was great. Enjoyable staff. read more
