Even the staff aren't up to speed - the manager had to check with the kitchen for a few I inquired about & the first staff member I talked to hadn't even tried any of their wings (!) They have deals from Sunday to Thursday. Monday is the best day if you only want wings - $8.85/lb. They got new management as of late May (maybe that's why "Wow!" has been dropped from the name) so the old reviews are probably no longer relevant. Got a pound of Texas Hot: hot with taco seasoning & ranch. They were crispy enough though not very crispy. The flavour was sour & spicy: the spiciness was on the edge of being intolerable (certainly not what I'd expect for only 2 chilis) & quite sour. The flavour was decent but the hot taste predominated - I couldn't taste the taco seasoning & couldn't really taste the ranch: it just registered as a vaguely creamy sauce (when I had it on its own I could just about taste it & recognise it as ranch, though my palate was quite shot out by the spiciness).

Honey mustard was good: not very sweet, with a good balance with the mustard. Chicago roadhouse (salsa-like) was slightly spicy. Fries were good; dusted for texture. Caesar salad was decent: it had a light flavour & was fresh with a nice peppery edge. Earlier, Mini combo: wings had a great smoked taste & the ribs were great too. The fries were very crispy and had a good bite - they were a huge portion. Cornbread was cold and a bit dry. Coleslaw was OK & the beans were not bad.

I was actually quite disappointed that the Vaughan and Unionville locations have closed down. They had a 2 can dine promo for $29.99 which includes 1.5LB wings, large wedges, 2 drinks and a cole slaw. I was in a bit of a hurry so I just ordered that. For the wings there were about 13 pieces in total. I got honey garlic and garlic bbq flavor. The wings were just mediocre maybe I should have gotten half of it dry instead. I found the wings a bit overly saucy. For $30 plus taxes I don't think it was worth it for the portion. To be honest, if it wasn't because of the gift card I had, I wouldn't have ordered this. In my opinion, the prices are pretty steep and not worth it.

My boyfriend and I were too exhausted to make dinner so we decided to grab wings instead. The wait wasn't too bad, we were seated at the bar in 5 minutes. The place was packed because of their Tuesday special. I love the vibe, super casual and not too loud but still intimate. I got an order of hot and honey wings with a Creemore. My love ordered the dry cajun wings with a pint of Guinness. The fries were not at all greasy - the salt wouldn't stick onto the fries but they were still hot, crispy and delicious. The wings are always piping hot, saucy and still crispy. No complaints except that we were waiting a bit for the server to take our dishes away and give us our bill and the lack of parking that they have in the small plaza. However, we would still come back. Good times with great company! Happy eating fellow Yelpers!
