We had some concerns and a lot of questions which Dr. Kuo addressed and thoroughly explained. She spent a lot of time with us and reached out to us the next day with some of the results that had come in. We got a text asking if our dog was okay and how we found everything at the office. You can't get better service than that. Yes, it was more costly than a regular visit but we knew that going in, we chose the holistic approach and we expected it to be a high bill. The office staff printed us an estimate so that we could look it over before anything was done. We go to great lengths to care for our boy with his food, his treats etc. so this made sense to us. I will definitely use Dr. Kuo again. We like her and so does our boy.

Dr Kuo did try to push both, as well us ultrasound, numerous tests, acupuncture, just about everything. I made it totally clear that if I was going to go conventional, it would be with my regular vet. When my dog had the first blood test, I was unaware of what levels would indicate her disease was severe, and holistic treatment would not be the right approach. I would do anything for my dog. After her first test result, I received emails from the doctor. She did not call me, nor would she get on the phone to talk to me. I just assumed she was too busy. I stayed on the treatment for 4 months, and again had blood tests, total cost 862, with 3 supplements. At this point, her blood results did not change. I wanted to talk about options. Dr Kuo sent me a lot of information via email, I'm not a vet, some waa very confusing. I asked numerous times to have a conversation to discuss my dog's next options and was denied. I was told she does not speak about results. I have never had a vet, not call me to discuss my dog's results and the best option. My dog has a disease and I wanted to speak with the vet. In her email, she asked me the same questions that we covered on our first visit, things she should have known. She also offered me a tela medical call to discuss next options, but it would cost over a hundred dollars for twenty minutes. Needless to say, I am going to try conventional with my vet. Of course, I wanted to try holistic, but I left it up to her, to explain when it should be used. This is all my opinion and based on my experience. Everything I have said is based on my opinion. I forgot to add the supplements, I made it clear that I would use petmeds, but when petmeds sent the approval to the vet, I was told they were to busy to approve. They tried to push me to another prescription page. My dog needed her supplements, I asked them to just approve it. They were too busy but had the time to send me numerous emails, rather than just approving it with petmeds, which would have taken seconds. It was very stressful, to the point, that I just paid more to get through them.
