I tried calling the numbers available publicly on their website and was sent straight to voicemail. And so I noticed one of the numbers was a mobile number and text a very polite and formal message asking if they could groom my dog and collect and drop her off in their advertised pet taxi. I received a phone call minutes later with "Hi, you won't find anyone that will groom your dog this evening so good luck trying other places. We're booked up for the next two weeks until the 2nd of June so call and make an appointment then" and then they hung up. I was obviously very annoyed and disheartened with this very brief call with no opportunity to reply or ask any questions. I then got a text message from an entirely different mobile number saying "Fully booked to 2 June. And this number not on website so don't know where you got it", to which I replied "I didn't text this number, I text one ending in 0689. And thank you for that very brief and quite rude phonecall. I think I'll take my business elsewhere." Which I think is entirely reasonable considering their being incredibly unprofessional. To which they replied "Please do . Bye". No apologies for their rudeness, but instead I got more arrogance. I will be taking my business elsewhere Yew Tree Grooming, and I'm going to let people know how bloody rude and unprofessional with your customers you are! Also your website is very poorly designed and written. Thank you for making me angry on such a beautiful day. And for letting my dog down too.

The staff are wonderful and very helpful, carrying my purchases to the car on my two visits. I found the prices reasonable. Much better shopping with the smaller shops supporting local businesses.

The staff are friendly and…read morehelpful but I found the prices of the pet supplies to be very high, you can easily find them cheaper elsewhere. They have a few animals in the shop but they dont really sell pets only fish. this place also offers dog grooming but I have never used this service. this hop is usually quiet and I dont think that there is ever a big queue. It also sells a few garden plants and supplies in the summer.
