I work in queens and live upstate, so driving is a must. With my car sounding like the bottom was going to fall out, i happened to stumble on WT Transmission and Auto Repair. They were just opening in the neighborhood and so Ingave it a try. I told the Mechanics named Willy and Tony, WT, go figure, that i hear a lot of banging under my car. I already told them I already changed the struts, brakes, calipers, etc and still sounds like it was going to fall apart. I was already 3,500 in the hole after that and hoped they can figure it out, not like the other shop that will remain nameless that took me for 3,500.00 they happened to find out that my subframe rubber thingy is all worn out. Granted i havent changed anything in this car since i bought new 10 years ago, but i was desperately needed the fix before my engine falls out in the middle of the george washington bridge. They gave me options and made it easy on my wallet. I couldve spent 300 or 400 for a new subframe, plus labor, but they were able to replace the rubber thingy (forgot the name of the parts but see pictures) and was on the road for even less. Car sounds like new. No more clanky noises from down under. I have found my diamond in the rough who wont take me for everything i have. Thank you Willy and Tony or should i say WT. I most definitely come back for all my auto problems. Good by the nameless repair shop that robbed me blind. Lol. Very nice, and not pushy about getting your money. read more
