LOL...Thank God I don't work in the car wash industry anymore...hahahaha. Oh boy,, where do I start....First, let me help some of you understand how a successful business works...when you pull in to a business and they are "PACKED" with customers, ITS A GOOD THING....good for that business and good for YOU because most likely it's busyness is due to an overwhelming popular opinion about the servicethey are offering...so what do you do??? You blast them with a negative review, as if they made all those customers come at that exact same time and the employees weren't doing everything in their power to get YOU to the front of the line. I'm sure the owner was pissed at seeing all those customers pull in and told his workers to slow down because the last thing he wants is money and satisfied customers and their repeat business....do you blast every business that forms an unexpected long line? LOL....SMH... Its a handwash, guy. I personally prefer a handwash (((WHICH TAKES MORE TIME, PEOPLE))) and a handwash usually will cost you DOUBLE at any machine carwash (and spoiler alert: most machine carwashes HATE doing handwashes because they are labor intensive and time consuming)...2nd, cleaning cars all day is EXHAUSTING especially if its hot, so yes,, sometimes even their best employees are prone to fatigue and "miss spots" HOWEVER if you point them out at the end , I GUARANTEE they will correct what they missed because if they didn't then they wouldn't be in business anymore by now...bbbbbut instead of you asking to fix the "problem", you'll show the owner, by going into you're internet safespace reality and sabotage him/her by writing one star reviews because ONE employee "missed a spot" or "the line was too long"...LOL... I'm sure the poor schlep who owns the place secretly loves when their employees "purposely" do shoddy work....geez....even the best detailer in the world occasionally misses something. 3rd, DOG HAIR IS EXTREEEMELY HARD TO GET OUT!... when customers would come in and the seats would be smothered in dog fur and think that a $20 or $30 carwash was ample enough money to ensure that every single dog hair was removed from the vehicle LOL....not a chance....automotive upholstery is like VELCRO when it comes to hair, especially short dog hair. Even high dollar state of the art carwash vacuums can only get so much...At cactus carwash and simoniz, and Mr. Clean carwashes charge around a $100 just to remove doghair AND THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE WASH...4th, saw a one star review saying "he used the same water on two cars in a row and the same wool mitts, as well as a 'brush' on the 'cuties' roof of car in front of me" SMDH .... there's not a (successful) carwash in the world that doesn't use wool mitts to hand wash a car, know why?, because not only are they extremely soft and utterly non-abrasive but most importantly THEY PREVENT DEBRIS AND DIRT from scratching a vehicles clearcoat. It does this by allowing the dirt to move freely and easily throughout the hairs of the wool which eliminate friction of any sort, therefore nearly impossible to scratch clearcoat, this is common knowledge at carwashes...if they were using sponges on clearcoat then, yes, SOMETIMES dirty water needs replacing more often...As for the "brush on a pole" rhetoric, SMH, if I had a dime for everytime a customer saw one of those SPECIFIC BRUSHES MADE FOR WASHING CARS and just assumed it was just some stiff bristled shop broom ‍...those brushes are specifically designed for washing roofs and are unbelievably soft. Tho similar, They don't hold as much water as the wool mitts, personally I always thought they were useless HOWEVER when it comes to cleaning roofs of cars, especially trucks and suvs, shorter people need them or they can just skip cleaning your roof?? As for the business, I work right by this place and when it first opened I wasn't exactly sure it would make it. Kind of an awkward location being hard to see from 41 and definitely wasn't the fanciest of places but what it lacks in curb appeal it makes up for in quality. Not to mention it's very affordable. Plenty of days a week they are SLAMMED but the proof is in the pudding folks...its been over 5 years and they not only have beat all the odds against them (there's 3 high dollar machine carwash businesses in a 2 mile radius) but they managed to successfully obtain a steady repeat of customers...despite the same ol carwash customer divas and their trivial complaints....only thing I suggest to the owner is, once you can financially do so, find a way to draw more attention towards the business...even tho there's a sign its hard to tell there's a building down there...maybe add a grander entrance with nice landscaping and stone walls. Relatively cheap way to draw more attention that way as well as psychologically telling customers that you're business is profiting from its success.... people love a success story but you've got to let them see your succeeding read more

Wish I saw the reviews prior to going and wish I could have watched better because my car was scratched up when I left. I'm thinking it's the brush on a stick they use to apply soap etc . Looks like trapped dirt may have put scratches in my coat on every panel including my trunk. I counted multiple almost 10 -12 total new long scratches that were not there before I went and I regret it deeply. They also move too fast so not take time and kind of get the feeling it's quantity over quality. I'd avoid if you care about your car's paint. read more

I'm currently watching them wash my car and I can see why they have such high reviews. They are incredibly thorough and pay a lot of attention to detail. This is not a chain car wash type of place so it's nothing glamorous about it but do not fret! I've seen nothing but luxury cars pull up for a car wash and it's quite obvious why after watching them work. I have an SUV and they charge $20 for outside wash and $30 for inside/outside. I think that's incredibly reasonable for a hand car wash spot. This place is 3 minutes from my house and I will certainly be back. Best car wash around - by a long shot. Never felt comfortable going through car wash machines so have wanted to find a solid hand wash place for a while. These guys know what they're doing. Between the wash, dry down, and interior cleaning, my car looks brand new every time I leave. I've paid with cash and card, not sure if they take check for those of you out there who like that option. They're super thorough, but don't be deterred if the line into the wash is a few cars deep. They move pretty quick. That said, the weekdays are a far better time to come if you can as there is hardly a line. Totally recommend! read more

UPDATE: 5/28/19 - we jut got back from a 23 day trip out west. I'm a clean car nut. We went through all kinds of weather conditions. I took my car to three different places including a MB dealer in Denver, and it was never cleaned like these folks clean it. This is the first place I went after we unloaded the car. Great people that do a great job. I'm very particular with detail services. I've been using WS for over three years and they never disappoint. They won't let you leave if you aren't happy. WS Car Wash is located behind the Texaco gas station. Stopped by for a quick wash before a car (G) meet later today. There were at least 6-8 guys working (quickly, might I add) while paying a lot of attention to detail, cleaning out all the little nooks and crannies. Kudos to that! the car wash is sort of hidden behind the texaco but you pull into a garage and they hand wash your car then pull forward & staff details the inside. the job was very nicely done and it took about an hour for the whole process. there is seating outside under a tent while you are waiting but i walked & grabbed some food. would probably go visit other places just to see if they could do it faster but overall it was nice. read more

And not only that ( I understand a small upcharge for an SUV) but they also tried to upcharge me because car had pollen on it. If this were a movie it might be called, "Love and Hate Behind a Gas Station" or "Don't Treat My Baby That Way". Ok, so I pull in behind the Texaco station to the hidden one car wash garage. I know it's there because I've checked the Yelp reviews. I'm next in line behind a pretty woman in a Mazda. I watch as the hand wash begins on her silver "6". The sheepskin wash cloths come out of a bin filled with what I assume is detergent/water. He uses the same two cloths to clean the entire car - top, sides, front, back - never rinsing the cloths off even one time: YIKES! After a fresh water hose-down of cutie's car out comes a brush on a pole to scratch, er, I mean clean, the top of her car: Double YIKES! Then to top it off car wash guy reaches into the bin for the sheepskins again and he uses the same cloths to clean the wheels and tires: Triple YIKES! Basically the dirt from this lovely woman's tires/rims/car is being spread all over. It wouldn't be so bad if they rinsed the cloths every so often or used special cloths for the wheels and rims. Those same dirt filled cloths are about to be used on my baby. Quadruple YIKES! Call me picky. I have a black car. I love her and take good care of her. But I hate those nasty swirls made by dirt making micro-scratches in her finish. The key is lots of water, frequent rinses and clean(er) sheepskins. Basic stuff. Despite these car wash guys taking lots of time to get your car clean they are not taking time to get these basics right and that could mean trouble for your car's finish. I must say that they did otherwise take a lot of care in cleaning my vehicle both in and out. Mea culpa. I did come from CA where aspiring actors and amazing car washes are on just about every corner. Yeah, this isn't SoCal, but I am looking for the OTP's best hand car wash... After the daring descent they call a drive way, we pull into what looks like a abandoned shack. We drive down to a stop sign and sit, the guy inside was laid back in a chair on the phone...he didnt move. We creeped forward to see piles of rags thrown over some little rascals carts, a ridgid shop vac (the cheap kind found in home depot). After looking around, the guy inside still didn't move so we circled around slowly and decided to leave. If you want your car to be wiped down with dirty sewer water, by non caring attendants, you want your clearcoat destroyed, and your interior brushed over with a hose you wouldn't want your child to touch...this is your place! read more

Definitely not the fastest hand bunch I've seen but for the price it's the best wash and wax you'll find on this side of town.
