Please stop lying in your response. You did not "reach out the same day". You answered the phone and took the information and then sent me the Employee Guide to Employee Law pdf. To answer the phone was of your choice. That was what you chose to do "outside of your business hours". Additionally, the claim I made regarding the person I spoke with saying that it could be weeks to months but typically days was absolutely NOT a mixup. You should clarify that information with your assistant. Also, you never got back to me at all. I called on Saturday and answered all of the intact questions. You sent me an email that following Monday stating that you wouldn't be able to take the case. Please be honest and gather the correct information before making a response. I contacted them for my case, spending nearly 30 minutes on the phone explaining everything to their intake. Ten minutes later, Cheyla texted me. In the first text, she said she received my case and sent me an email. Less than an hour later, she texted again, mentioning she had everything that she needed and they would review and inform me if they could take my case or refer me to "trusted colleagues." I promptly replied that if they couldn't represent me, I didn't want them to send my info to another form. Then she texted that due to their current caseload they are not taking cases at this time and can refer the case to "trusted colleague" or to close my file. I requested to close my file. She then replied that they had a heavy caseload and couldn't take my case. I questioned her why they wasted 30 minutes of my time if they knew they couldn't take a new case due to heavy caseload. I called her out for getting the information for the intention to refer to another firm and collect referral fees. She responded with the excuse that their reception team wasn't aware of their caseload. It's ironic that in less than an hour, their caseload suddenly increased and they have to refer the case out. They need to train their employees and reconsider their unethical practice of gathering information with the intention of passing it to another attorney, risking conflicts of interest and potentially ruining cases. If you can't take new cases due to caseload, DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME. Dealing with attorneys like this while seeking justice against your former employer is truly a terrible experience. read more
