(5 stars before were solely from them moving me…read morein fast, they over charged my deposit when I was desperate and have been awful in every other aspect since then) Simply for the fact their maintenance department is criminally negligent, and derelictive of their duties. For over a year I have stated a need for proper maintenance and ventilation after a major leak was active for 3 months. 3 months of myself and another tenant fighting with them before being properly addressed and yet not even properly fixed ITS STILL LEAKING. Ever since then the area their vendor did not properly service has produced black mold, and has been spreading through the walls and ceiling visibly. I have let them know countless times since January 20th of this year when it's become evident to me it was affecting my health. I had told them my health and well-being were a concern because I was having big warning signs of black mold exposure, as well as there were visible signs of black mold. (Pictures attached) They sent a maintenance man out to service it, he was not qualified for this issue. I called them again because even more spores were present coming through the wall, he came back and confirmed with me it appeared to be toxic mold in his opinion. He also stated it was bad for my lungs. He let me know he would contact a supervisor, Jordan, and she came and also confirmed the issue. We talked about possible resolutions. She told me they would get back to me on what the owner says. That never happened. I had to literally fight with the 2 women in their maintenance department Michelle and Jami to get a call from a supervisor. Thankfully I was able to get her personal number and have been able to skip around their awful maintenance department. Do not expect a call back from them, even if they tell you they will personally. They will not. Multiple times that was stated, and never once did they follow up. They blatantly lied to me, multiple times during this process. I was told the maintenance man would be coming out with a test kit, he did not. Was told I was going to be called back by the maintenance department, I was not. Was told I'd be given an update on what the owner says in regards to ventilation and work, I was not. I've been more than patient and kind with them, especially considering I told them my health was in jeopardy January 20th, it is now March 30th. The owner of the building refused to put in a vent and send out professionals to service the mold. The apartment management were derelict of their duties and exhibited the worst case of gross neglegence I've heard of in a property management company around here. Especially when I've been as thorough and detailed as possible with them on the issue. I was never notified the owner refused to get anything done to mitigate the issue. They have ignored it to the point I was hospitalized with severe chest pains and shortness of breath when I do not have history of asthma or heart problems. In fact they told me this doesn't make sense because I'm overall healthy but there is definitely something going on. Mold exposure. So now my entire life will not be the same quality seeing as there is no cure for black mold exposure. I've been gaslighted by these lovely ladies for over a year now. I have had to deal with the mental and physical pain, and trauma of the neglect they left me to suffer with. I was begging for help, and even offered to get it taken care of myself. Told them I could have my employer come take a look seeing I worked for a licensed trades company. They ignored even that. I literally haven't received any form of apology or assurance that they would make it right. I truly hope this helps you make the decision to chose another property management company because in my opinion you and your family, your pets, your friends coming to visit, would not be safe under the conditions they keep the properties they oversee. You will not receive assistance even if you are telling them you feel like your life and well-being are in danger. They also cancel work orders without discussing any information as to why they are unable to perform their function.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE i lived in one of their properties in wolfforth with my husband and my infant…read moreit was not a safe place to live for my 4 month old or me being a stay at home mother first thing we had to deal with when we moved in was them trying to charge me for plumbing issues that we didn't cause when we had lived there for 1 week. Then shortly after our heater would go out every month for about 4 months it once went out at night and there so called emergency number that we called was not in service. Upon moving in i contacted garret about mold spots in the bathrooms keep in mind they were in my INFANTS bathroom and he was very dismissive and told me to clean them myself. Another situation at this property happened when i was walking to my unit form my car and a elderly man from the assisted living behind me followed me and my infant to my unit and started banging on my doors and windows trying to get to us I called the police and called garret to tell him we were not safe in this unit and if there was a way that we could exit our lease and he was very dismissive again and told me it was not allowed because it wasn't considered a reason to break our lease. The last situation i went through was when wolfforth had a huge storm and my window along with several other tenants windows were shattered allowing bugs and water to enter. The whole time we were here the unit was invested with bugs i would have to sweep multiple dead bugs everyday. We did break our lease in order to have a safe living space for my infant this was never acceptable and will never be acceptable. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. i've never written a review before but i am writing this to hopefully help new parents and families so they don't put themselves or children in danger. So no matter how clean you leave the apartment, you will never see your deposit again. She admitted the apartment was very clean. It didn't matter!! Take pics before and after your move, so you can have proof. After you move out, take your contract, pics and go see your Small Claims Court judge. From previous tenants, they say they were all scammed out of their deposit and the apartments were filthy when they moved in, so they werent sure what the professional cleaning crew did to earn the Tenants deposit $. Unfair business practices need to be stopped. Remember your college business law classes. If its not in the contract, it doesn't matter and have proof (hence the pics) of what you are saying. Granted her apartments are cheap, so that may make up for you losing your $250 deposit. It is almost impossible to study with the thin walls and their location so next to a major interstate. It is definitely hard to sleep. My kids ended up sleeping over at one of their buddies house most of the time...

I hired a cleaning crew to clean the apartment for me because I am a police dispatcher who works on the midnight shift and never have time for anything else since I sleep all day. When I first moved in, she accused me of not giving my deposit, came into my apartment while I was asleep and preceeded to have a screaming match with me becuse her assistant didn't notify her that I had dropped off my deposit check including 1st month's rent.... At the time I worked at the police department, called a PD friend of mine at the time to get her removed from my living room. She threatened to call the mayor and file a formal complant until my officer friend got in her face and told her something that I didn't hear... needless to say she never messed with me again. She is a horrible landlord and I would never recommend anyone to either rent from her or to purchase a house from her. She is NOT the business woman she claims to be!
